The first Tuesday of every month officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command - NSW P...olice Force, with members of Fire and Rescue NSW, take part in Night Drive for Learners. A free program hosted by Australian Racing Drivers' Club and Driving Solutions. The free program gives learner drivers the opportunity to build confidence in their driving by having 2 hours of free driving around the track at Sydney Motorsport Park. As a value add officers setup a mock RBT site where drivers can practice driving through the site and the drivers and their supervisors can ask questions of the officers. Fire and Rescue NSW drive around the track with the learners, randomly engaging their lights and sirens. Another great night last night, with an eager group of learner drivers. 16.01.2022 It's never too late to get your licence! Today showed me what determination really is. My 75yo student...you read right..75yo.....PASSED and has obtained his 1st ever drivers licence.... It was a difficult journey....at times....parking up and deliberating whether we continue the journey. I encouraged him to surrender to his goal. We pressed on as this was on his bucket list. He didnt want to post a photo.....but as this post pops up as a fb memory...it will forever remind me of him and his determination.

When i pushed your boundaries..you acknowledged that there was a skills gap.... You could've taken the easy way out..taking enough lessons..just to pass the test. BUT you didn't..you took extra lessons to develop a higher level of skills to be more confident on the road. Well done mate!!

14.01.2022 AMAZING EFFORT!! With most of your driving done in suburbia...n then being tested in the big smoke @Chatswood in peak hour....u passed 1st go with an excellent score!! I only had time to fit 1x lesson in with u...got ur mum in the car.. n threw it all at u...n u retained it all.... As i didnt have time..u took a lesson with another instructor who tried to derail u...held ur wheel to make u feel inadequate....told u not to signal on a 3pt turn....absolutely disgusting behaviour from a "qualified instructor".
