25.01.2022 The GAT or General Achievement Test is on Wednesday 7th October at 10am. All students who are doing Units 3 & 4 for VCE or Scored VET must sit the GAT. Students need to arrive at 9.30am to find their seat and get organised.

17.01.2022 The Buxwear Uniform Shop will reopen on Thursday 1st October 1pm to 5pm. It will also be open on Saturday 3rd October 9.30am to 12.30pm. Due to COVID-19 social distancing precautions, only one customer is permitted in the shop at a time.

14.01.2022 DSC Library staff are very pleased to be able to continue to offer students the opportunity to visit our Drouin Secondary College library to borrow books. Our opening hours for pre-arranged borrowing visits for the final week of Term 3 are: - Tuesday, Thursday: before school 8.30am - 9am, lunchtime 1.25 - 1.55pm & afterschool 3.30-4.30pm. - Friday, 18 September (Interview Day), 10am-1pm, 2pm-2.30pm.... To book a visit, please email Ms Taylor, [email protected], with your preferred visiting time, choosing a 10 minute time-slot during our opening hours, as listed above. If your preferred time is already taken, we will discuss a different time with you. In your email you can request specific titles, authors, genres or mystery books based on previous borrowings. Please ensure that your booking has been confirmed in an email to you before visiting the college. Students will first need to sign in at the office before collecting books from the library. We will have a range of titles ready for you to borrow when you call into the library. Please wear a mask. Please note that parents must wait in their cars.



13.01.2022 Until the end of Term 4, the Uniform Shop is open every Thursday 1pm to 6pm (including today) and every Saturday 9.30am to 12.30pm. The Uniform Shop is still waiting on stock deliveries for the new jacket and navy pants. You can still try these items on for size to place an order. Due to COVID-19 social distancing precautions, only one customer is permitted in the shop at a time. To call the Uniform Shop directly, ring the College on 5625 1002 then dial 327 when you hear greeting message starts.

13.01.2022 These guidelines provide information to support moving back to learning onsite at Drouin Secondary College. At this stage, we have two more weeks of remote/online learning to complete before we are all back on campus at DSC - the last week of Term 3 and the first week of Term 4. We have planning in place for the return to onsite learning in Term 4 with arrangements to ensure everyone is safe so we will finish the school year with everyone learning in the classroom. 10.01.2022 DSC and the Head Start Team are excited to support Sine on her journey of becoming an early childhood educator. In 2021, Sine will be undertaking Year 12 VCE while continuing on in her traineeship pathway. Sine will be commencing the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care with her employer Waterford Rise Early Learning Centre. Thank you to all the staff at the child care centre for supporting Sine and the program and well done to Sine on her vocational excellence.

04.01.2022 As part of their community projects, a group of our Year 12 VCAL Work Related Skills students decided to put together care packages for residents at Amberlea Aged Care in Drouin. The group worked together to source donations from staff, wrap the packages and arrange delivery to Amberlea. The care packs included something to read, snacks/treats, little pot plants, hand sanitiser, notepads and ‘something Aussie’ like lamingtons. A great effort to brighten someone’s day.
