12.01.2022 Oven Installation - Just fixed this oven installation in Glen Iris. The customer was charged $250 through a well known retailer for an oven replacement. They left non terminated, redundant, live wiring on top of the oven. Although they weren't responsible for the wiring they chose to ignore it. I removed this wiring in under 5 minutes and made safe. 06.01.2022 Out of the Box Electrical Solution - A little while back a customer of mine was quoted over $2000 for power to be supplied to this outdoor light post. The quote was to install mains power from a switch inside, pvc pipe down a wall, cut through concrete to the light post. As we are always trying to save our customers money we managed to do this for a fraction of the cost with totally concealed wiring unlike the expensive quote. A new switch was added inside the home and run to a transformer in the ceiling. From there 12V garden wire was run behind the down pipe through a groove in the concrete, and in a shallow trench.
