21.01.2022 Some #wednesdaywisdom for you! Is there ever really a good time to start? I believe the answer to that question is no. There is always going to be a ‘better time’ if you keep telling yourself this. But the truth is, there is never a good time and a year, two years, five years from now you’ll have wished you’d started today. Because even if you don’t feel ‘ready’, you’ll have progressed so much more than you think you would have. I didn’t start this business by waiting un...til the time was ‘right’. But I can tell you this, I am SO thankful I started when I did! 21.01.2022 FORMS Let’s talk about forms for a moment. Do you use them within your business? Maybe you need your customers to fill them out or answer a questionnaire for you. Now my next question, do you still email them the PDF document to print and fill in, to then scan back to you?! it makes me exhausted just saying that imagine how your clients feel! Not only is that method quite time consuming for yourself AND your customers/clients, it’s also quite outdated. If you didn’t ...know already, there’s a much more streamlined process you can use for this! (Can I get a hell yeah?!) There’s lots of online websites you can use, such as jot form & type form. But pending how many forms you need, they can come at a cost or have limited amount of questions! This is why I love Google Forms, it’s so easy to use, you can pretty them up and there’s no question limit. Lastly, you may feel you have no time to do this and that’s okay. Because this is where hiring a VA to do it for you comes in handy. Didn’t know VA’s can do this for you? Well now you do! We can convert all your hardcopy or PDF forms straight into an online system that really helps streamline those processes and give you back your valuable time. 19.01.2022 OH HI so it’s been a while since I’ve actually said HEY to all my new followers and introduced myself properly! So I figured, why not use one of my new photos to do it I’m Kirralee, the gal behind Right Hand Gal! I started my VA business in June this year after completing a VA course and I honestly still have to pinch myself that this is what my work days look like now I offer VA support in social media, event & admin but soon I’ll also be offering design support as ...this is where my real passion lies (watch this space ) So here are 6 fast facts about me! 1. I live on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW in Coffs Harbour 2. I have 3 beautiful children (6,4&1) and a rad husband 3. I grew up on the beautiful Sunshine Coast 4. My fave food is pizza & I can’t forget to mention my chocolate obsession 5. I don’t drink coffee and don’t think I ever will (tea all the way ) (also LOL to the coffee picture behind me ) 6. I have a passion for the creative world and aspire to be a graphic designer Lastly, a big thanks to you all for supporting me along this journey, I’ve loved it so far and it’s really just the beginning! 19.01.2022 YOU CAN’T POUR FROM AN EMPTY CUP A bit of #ThursdayThoughts for you! Okay, this is just SO true. You cannot give anyone or anything your time if you have nothing left to give. Makes sense doesn’t it?! But honestly in the world we live in, we’re all so busy and often overworked in our jobs or just simply in life! This is your reminder that if you’re feeling empty, if you’re feeling flat or just don’t have any energy- listen to your body! ... Take a break from whatever it is and take some time out! Do something that relaxes your mind, that feeds your soul and something that will fill your cup back up! It doesn’t have to be for long, maybe it’s 15 minutes of meditation, or listening to your fave podcast or running yourself a nice bath. For me, it’s going for a walk or chilling out and watching my fave crime dramas (remember those fun facts about me?! ) So go on now, get! Fill that cup back up so you can feel refreshed for the rest of the week

19.01.2022 DON'T LET PERFECT BE THE ENEMY OF GOOD I've seen this discussion of perfectionism come up a lot lately and I have resonated with it SO much that I wanted to share my thoughts on the topic. It is so easy to let the idea or need for perfectionism stand in the way of action, and truthfully, in more ways than not, this is out of fear! Fear of starting, fear of failing, fear of making mistakes. But really, if you wait until everything is 'perfect', the truth is, you'll be w...aiting forever. The reason this has resonated with me lately is because of my own situation! I'm realigning my services and this means a lot of behind the scenes work. Not only this, it takes a lot of courage and it'd be easy for me to let my lack of confidence get in the way and to hide behind the idea of 'perfect'. Until I've updated my website, until I've amended my services... you get the idea. But what I reminded myself is that it's better to start and learn along the way, then to wait and possibly miss opportunities that could have helped me to learn and grow! So this is your reminder, if you're waiting for the perfect moment, ask yourself why? If its fear of starting, well, honey, we all have to start somewhere! 18.01.2022 Project Management Tools Do you use one? If the answer is no, it could well be part of the reason you are feeling overwhelmed within your business! Project management tools are the perfect way to stay organised can help even more if you manage a team. If you've been feeling unsure, I've put together some of the many reasons a Project Management Tool can improve efficiency in your business- ... 1. Task management - easily manage those different tasks you have, day in and day out, listing them in order of priority and even creating subtasks within each task 2. Team collaboration - this will make team workflows a whole lot easier by assigning tasks to different team members, and even assigning more than one person to a task. You can set out more clearly who is responsible for what, and the whole team will have a clear indication too! 3. Project tracking - by setting due dates for each task & project, you'll have an efficient way to keep track of projects and be able to determine if they're on track for completion 4. Central document storage - all of your required documents, notes, templates, resources etc can be stored in the one central spot so everyone can access them. No need to search through endless drives to find what you're looking for It really makes no sense not to use one after reading the above points. So now the question is, which one to use? I'm a BIG fan of Asana, it helps keep me organised and works so smoothly with managing my clients & their requirements. 16.01.2022 You are not everybody's cup of tea, and that's OKAY. Let me explain... This is really important to remind yourself! If you run your own business like me, it can be hard to fall into the trap of wanting to get work so taking anything you can get. BUT this can end up being detrimental to not only you and your business, but also that client's business. Because, quite frankly, if you ain't vibin' each other from the start, you ain't vibin' each other at all. It'll only becom...e more apparent as time goes on and will be really unproductive for you both. Instead, I highly recommend the following: 1. Trust your gut from the beginning - it never lies to you! 2. Ask yourself if you really need the work? If yes, will you be able to look past those feelings? (probably not!) 3. Own your truth and trust that the right clients will come your way! I'm all for those good vibes! 15.01.2022 Client Mood Boards I loved creating these mood boards for my client. This was part of my Social Media Overhaul package. As part of it, I create a brand board which includes a colour palette & fonts. This client has the most beautiful farm where she holds intimate ceremonies & elopements. The farm has a lot of history in their family & is so special to her. I created 3 different options, and the inspiration for this wasn’t hard to find! I took it from the epic range of c...olours nature had to offer on display at the farm. Depending on the lighting and time of day, there were beautiful shades of green, gold & blue. I also included some deep reds & purples to of course add the sense of romance & love. Safe to say it was a hard choice! She ended up choosing number 1. Which is your favourite?!

14.01.2022 TUESDAY TIPS AND TOOLS (don’t forget to hit the save button!) So if you’re anything like me, you love an aesthetically pleasing ‘gram I mean, who doesn’t love looking through a well coordinated Instagram page #amiright?! In order to do this though, it’s so handy to be able to preview your new posts before uploading them to make sure they look good. Oh, if only there was a way to do this without having to upload your content on Instagram and hoping for the best ... Well, my friends, you are in luck! One of my favourite apps to use when planning my content is called... wait for it... ‘preview’ you don’t say?! But seriously! This app is so handy to use when you need to ‘preview’ your chosen images and content before posting it to your ‘gram! It shows your whole grid and allows you to upload images to preview them. I find it so helpful and you’ll often find me altering my images a few times before I’m happy to post! Have you ever used this app or is there another similar one you like using for the same purpose? He is seriously so supportive and is the one I bounce my ideas off and lay it all on the table to. He listens & tells me what I need to hear. He’s hashed out those moments of doubt with me and those moments of uncertai...nty and cheered me on in times of success. I’m one lucky gal What are you grateful for this week?
