21.01.2022 Last week in the Senate I exposed Labor's call to expand Jobseeker forever and their "jobs crisis" for what it is, a complete farce. Country Liberal Party

18.01.2022 Thanks to my friend Assistant Minister for Northern Australia Michelle Landry for coming to Darwin to announce the commencement of work on the Ship Lift facility with a $300 million loan from the North Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF). The Darwin Ship Lift was first proposed by the CLP some years ago, it is great to see it finally progressing. This is the second NAIF loan to be announced in the NT recently following the Humpty Doo Barramundi expansion funding last month. Country Liberal Party

17.01.2022 It was an important day for the Traditional Owners from the Wampaya country who received the title to 603.5 hectares of land around Anthony Lagoon during a Handover Ceremony at Lake Mary Ann. Thanks to Minister for Indigenous Australians, the Hon Ken Wyatt AM MP, for traveling to Tennant Creek, Northern Territory to deliver the deed to the land. The deed has been granted to the Gagaguwaja Aboriginal Land Trust, which is administered by the Northern Land Council, to hold on be...half of the traditional owners. Communities that have coverage issues should contact an eligible applicant to make their coverage issues known. See more

12.01.2022 It was a really fun night down at the Darwin Trailer Boat Club last week doing the Paul Murray LIVE "Our Town" broadcast.

11.01.2022 Just what small business needs right now, another smack-down by tin pot dictator Michael. The NT News reported this week "Mr Gunner said the public holiday was about giving workers, who sacrifice their time with family during the holiday season, a fair go and to recognise that it’s been a tough year for them." Well Michael Gunner how about a fair go for business owners, many of whom have gone through a terrible year, making huge sacrifices and struggling every day just to k...eep their doors open and workers in a job. https://ntindependent.com.au/chief-ministerial-boxing-day-/ Country Liberal Party Chamber of Commerce NT Chamber of Commerce NT - Central Australia Chamber of Commerce NT - Katherine Region Darwin City & Waterfront Retailers Association Inc See more

10.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to Mike Reed, former Deputy Chief Minister of the Northern Territory. To me he was so much more than that, he was my friend, client, advisor, inspiration and mentor. Mike had a wickedly fast sense of irreverent humor, he didn't tolerate fools or Lefty's and he could cut to the essence of a situation with just a few well chosen words. He also taught me an enormous amount about Katherine's and the NT's history particularly with respect to WWII. He instilled in me many years ago a great respect and passion for the role we played in that war, to the extent that I enlisted his help to include a large section of that part of our history in my maiden speech to the Senate. My heart goes out to Ann, family and many friends

09.01.2022 Any Darwin friends looking for a band, I recommend these guys.

09.01.2022 I love introducing my visiting colleagues to my Territory friends. 04.01.2022 Thank you to all my staff and my good friend Senator Bridget McKenzie for helping me to bring a little cheer to Country Liberal Party party members during this difficult COVID 19 year, with my inaugural NT Mango Daiquiri night. It was also a great opportunity to showcase some fantastic NT produce, thanks to Saramat Ruchkaew for the Mangos and Spirits and Cocktails Australia for the Bacardi.

04.01.2022 Thanks to the Northern Land Council for organising a fantastic function for the visit of Minister Ken Wyatt. It was great to catch up with many friends including Marion Scrymgour, Phillip Bush, Leeanne Caton and Richard Fejo.
