25.01.2022 Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day October 15 is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes, however is not limited to, miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, and the death of a newborn. A miscarriage is the loss of your baby before 20 weeks of pregnancy. The loss of a baby after 20 weeks is called a stillbirth. Up to 1 in 5 confirmed pregnancies end in miscarriage before 20 weeks. For every little life, we remember.... 19.01.2022 Repost from proud parents. We are so thrilled to share this with you all. The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind. Kylie had to have an emergency C section after 7 hours of induced labour. Kylie is now in recovery back on the ward next to us.... Today our miracle was Born. Meet: ~ Logan Nathan ~ He is already famous around the hospital and has had many in tears today. Born at St. John of God at 7:49am, October 2nd, weighing 5 pound 12 Anthony was able to come in to cut the cord and I was so proud of my sister to give such an amazing gift in such scary circumstances to end a rollercoaster journey. All are now recovering and happy, and healthy We can’t thank Dr Sam Sabary enough for taking his first surrogacy case on with us. He has invested so much time and effort into the successful delivery of our miracle baby, we will never be able to thank him enough. Some of these investments were: assist us to move hospitals during Covid restrictions for the care of our surrogacy birthing plan Staying at the hospital from 4pm Thursday til 11am Friday to be their through the rollercoaster labour and making the hard call for the emergency c section for the health of baby Logan and Surrogate sister Kylie. Dr Sabary was put on this earth to be able give woman their miracle babies. 01.01.2022 Happily, we have just delivered the third baby by Maternal Assisted Caesarean Section at St John Of God Hospital. The procedure went extremely well. All of the team are now very familiar with the process related to this style of delivery. The outcome was amazing. Mum and Dad are so excited and happy to have had their baby with skin to skin contact immediately which they had not been able to do in their previous delivery by Caesarean Section. This is such exciting news a...nd I am very thankful to the Anaesthetic team and the Assistant as well as the very helpful and competent Nurses in Theatre at St John God of Hospital. The Midwives in the Maternity Department have great input in supporting this process and I am very thankful for their care.
