Hands-on practical teaching is still one of the best methods to learn and share tips and techniques from each other. It provides a safe environment for learning which is paramount.

11.01.2022 Tear troughs are tricky! Often the best result comes with a very cautious and gradual approach. Overfilling the tear trough can look puffy, lumpy or even create additional discolouration. The cheek should always be adequately treated before venturing under the eye. Otherwise it can look unnatural. It’s also important that your injector understands the properties of their filler choice so they can create the best possible result. The wrong filler in the wrong place will never look good.

I’ll often prepare the skin with lightening agents to minimise post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and insist on strict sun avoidance and SPF afterwards.
