09.01.2022 This week we are supporting Daffodil Day 2020 by drawing and painting our very own Daffodil pictures. Families and staff donated funds towards this extremely worthy campaign. Due to the current unforeseen circumstances our Termly visit to Autumn Lodge has been put on hold. The residents at Autumn Lodge have missed these visits, as have the Children and Staff at Drummond Park Preschool. To show the residents how much we have missed them, we have taken the time to draw and paint beautiful pictures for them. Both of these activities demonstrate Learning outcome 2 and how the children are connected with and contribute to their world and sense of belonging to groups and communities and Learning outcome 6 Collaborative Partnerships with families and communities.

08.01.2022 In week 4 and 5 the children focused on the texts We're going on a Croc Hunt and We're Going on a Moa Hunt. The educators contrived to recall and recount the sequence of the stories concentrating on patterns, sequence, rhythm and recall and the concept that a story has a beginning, middle and end.

03.01.2022 Drummond Park Preschool is taking enrolments for 2021 now! We are seeking families with children who turn 3 or 4 on or before 31st July 2021.

02.01.2022 The children were inspired by the flowers on the craft table in week 6. The sensory experience of smell, touch and sight stimulated the whole group to paint wonderful bunches of flowers using oil pastels and water color. The children had lots of fun creating their Father's Day cards and questionnaires for Dads in Week 7.
