25.01.2022 We celebrated pancake day yesterday! Miss jade made some fresh yummy delicious pancakes for everyone. The kookaburras & kangaroos decided to have a combined morning tea as they build and strengthen their relationships and bonds with each other!

24.01.2022 Today our nursery & toddler children enjoyed a beautiful spring day with some water, sand & mud play. There was lots of laughing while getting messy!! Who doesn’t love spring .

22.01.2022 Yesterday our Kindergarten children continued on with their Halloween arts and crafts by making their own spiders & webs! We collected our sticks from outside in the morning and got busy twirling the string around them to make our webs!!! How awesome.

Our kindy dingo friend Carter brought in his pet bird to show his friends as they were learning all about birds... the children were so interested they then extended their new knowledge of birds and their life cycle. 07.01.2022 Today was a group activity for our children outside, we decided to create our own rainbow serpent. I must say, we did a pretty good job!! Once we finished, we joined in the Kindy room to listen to the story.

02.01.2022 The kindy dingoes have begun learning about how they express their feelings and to support their understanding, Miss Ebony introduced ‘The zones of regulation’. The Zones approach uses four colors to help children identify how they are feeling in the moment given their emotions. By understanding how to notice their body’s signals, detect triggers, read social context and consider how their behavior impact those around them, this strategy can help support their emotional control, sensory regulation, self-awareness, and problem-solving abilities.

02.01.2022 Today the vacation care children went out on an adventure. To PIZZA HUT! This was such a cool bonding experience as we shared various conversations about ourselves, families, likes, dislikes and so much more! We loved learning new things about each other and can’t wait to do more fun things this week! Think some of us had a food coma afterwards!
