25.01.2022 2nd round of the club championships is on today and is proudly sponsored by lesters automotive. Tee off is at 12 and should be a great day. If you missed the first round its still not to late.

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Ian Jende who carried the flag down the first fairway in our flag event. Close behind were Ray Dodson and Steve Carman both nearly finishing the 18th.

23.01.2022 Saturday saw the conclusion of this years Singles Championships. Our Club Champion for 2015 is Terry Reid, congratulations and well played. We also were able to install the first of our new Tee Signs on the 1st hole with all to be complete before the start of the Vic Vets Tournament in just over 2 weeks time. A big thank-you to all who have helped get this project off the ground and for the time spent making them, some hard work but the results are definitely worth it

R/Up on a 5 way Countback Brad Johnston (Devilbend) 83-12-71 [DIVISION 2] - Winner on a 3 way Countback Dennis Hutchinson (Toolondo) 88-20-68 R/Up Ron Pouliot (Horsham) 86-18-68 [DIVISION 3] - Winner John Moulton (Maffra) 89-24-65 R/Up Alan Ferres (Buninyong) 105-34-71 [ALAN JONES MEMORIAL TROPHEY] This is for the best Nett Score for the Over 70s and Ron Pouliot won this award. Congratulations to all of the winners and a big thank you for all that participated and especially those who drove considerable distance to be here. 11.01.2022 Welcome to the 2018 season of golf at Drung. A lot of exciting things happening this year. Our committee of management this year consists of President- Leon Barents 0427 811 529... Secretary- Janine Eagle 0427 825 080 Treasurer- Sandra Decker 0419 595 946 General committee; Ian Jende- 0428 344 836 Lorna Mills- 5384 7336 Lyn Moncrieff- 0448 821 282 Shirley Schorbach- 0417 556 879 Terry Scott- 0432 680 993 We are trialling the sharing of the club house with The Little Desert Rodders, Rockers and Collectors Club. This club has 360 members and will use the clubhouse during our off season making costs and maintenance more viable. We will be holding a trivia night on Friday 13th April with a retro theme. There will be many old clips from the 70s and 80s and tickets are $15 per person tables of 10 (more details to come on the events calendar on Facebook)

11.01.2022 ***Working Bee*** This Sunday at 10am If anyone can spare 2 hours Sunday morning please come out to the course to help us prepare for the Victorian Veterans tournament later this year.... Please bring shovels, pitch forks etc if possible. Any help offered is greatly appreciated.

10.01.2022 Hope everybody is fighting fit ready for the start of a new season. Saturday April 2nd marks the start of our new season for 2016. While the rain hasnt come yet the course is in the best condition it can be thanks to many hours of work from our volunteers. This Saturday will see the start with a 3 person ambrose event. Meet at the club house at 11.30 for a tee off at 12. For those who cant make those times please call or inbox us and we will happily arrange a group for you. Looking forward to seeing you all out there this season

09.01.2022 Over 30 players have turned up for a game of Stableford today as a lead up to the Veterans Tournament which starts tommorow. I will be posting more photos over the course of the next few days play... Good Hitting.

08.01.2022 A special post to say Thank you to all of the Ladies (and Dave) who did such a fantastic job in the kitchen over the duration of the Tournament. The food was on time, tasted great and the club house I dont think has looked better than it did for the dinner on Monday night. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated.

08.01.2022 Its the morning of the Victorian Veterans Sand Scrape Tournament at the Drung Golf Club which is proudly sponsored by Wimmera Aquatrail. A great turn up of players with 80 registered entrants. Should be a great days play.

06.01.2022 This Saturday we are playing a 2 Person Pinehurst. You dont have to have a team organised, just turn up and we will get one for you. A great event to try something different, see you at 12pm.

04.01.2022 What an excellent night last night with around 70 people attending our inaugural trivia night. Thank you to the Kitchen Aids, Sammi Ellis and Janine Eagle for their support. Congratulations to Tom Sellick Inc and Hopper Hippies on sharing the 10 prize baskets and everyone who participated. A big thank you also to the Horsham Sports and Community Club, Horsham RSL and Bakers Delight for their donations.

01.01.2022 Day 1 of the Victorian Veterans Sandscrape Tournament has come to a close. Winners of the 4BBB Stableford event on a 4-way Countback with 43 points were Philip Adams & Alan Ferres. R/Up was David Beggs & John Moulton and 3rd went to Dennis James & Ron Dumesny A Big thank you to all who came and played today with some people traveling over 5 hours to get here.... Day 2 tomorrow will be the finale with an 18 hole Stroke event to complete the Championships, Tee Off at 9am.
