01.01.2022 Are you as outraged as us at the thought of logging koala habitat? Bulga State Forest contains some of the last remaining intact koala habitat after the devast...ating fires of 2019/20. These fires destroyed 21% of the total MidCoast local government area. Join us over the next five days and turn that outrage into action. Each day we will be posting the details of someone for you to contact. It can be a phone call or an email and your message can be as simple as stating that you would like your opposition to the planned logging of Bulga State Forest noted. Today let’s give Matt Kean, NSW Minister for Energy and Environment, a call. In July he boldly stated he wanted to see the NSW koala population doubled by 2050 and yesterday he opened a new National Park in the Southern Highlands, saying that he wants to make sure our kids, and their kids, and their kids are able to see koalas in the wild for many years into the future. We do too, and these are our koalas, in Bulga State Forest.
