21.01.2022 Hi. I am going to be at lady cutler 3 near the canteen and have a tub full of cyms training shirts and shorts, cyms caps and baggy greens and singlets. Also a variety of playing and supporter shirts including night cricket shirts. Prices are either $20 or $25 dollars ( larger Gear). If you cant make it to lady cutler message me and I will Bring to your game when possible today. I also have a cyms cricket bag/ kit to show as once we have distributed to the people that ordered there maybe a few left over. Price for these is $125. Congratulations to our U12as Cougars who took out their grand final in style this morning, rolling St Johns for only 44 the lads got the total 3 wickets down to win the match. A well deserved reward for a great young bunch of kids. Hope to see you all at John McGrath 1 to support our 14as in their attempt to capture another GF for the Cougars.

15.01.2022 Hi Cougars, A big congratulations and the best of luck to our Junior sides taking part in this weekends DDJCA semi-finals. We have all 4 sides in as follows; U12Bs finished top of the ladder and will play St Johns at Lady Cutler South B in a 1 day match Saturday 22nd March. U12As finish 3rd on the ladder and will play Rugby at Bob Dowling 3 in a 2 day match over Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd March.... U14Bs finished 4th on the ladder and will play Macquarie Blue at John McGrath 1 in a 2 day match over Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd March. U14As finished top of the ladder and will play St Johns at Lady Cutler 2 in a 2 day match over Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd March. While the boys went down to the blue fellas from all reports it was a great match played in fantastic spirit by both teams as they not only battled each other but also interruptions from the pop up sprinklers, lightening and a shower or two. 09.01.2022 Hi Cougars, dont forget our big club day is on tomorrow at Lady Cutler ovals with Macquarie CC. Games start at 1:00 and the festivities start at 3:00. BBQ lunch, jumping castle (for the kids Scott Russell and Matthew Tabbernor) and Santa will be making an appearance. After the games everybody is heading back to Sporties for a few drinks and some nibbles and hopefully watch the Aussies year apart the poms in Perth. Everyone welcome to come along.

07.01.2022 Hi Cougars, This coming Monday through to Thursday is our major fund raising opportunity for both Cyms Junior and Senior Cricket Club as we host the canteen and lunches for the state challenge Under 14s and Under 13s. All up we are making 250 lunches per day and conducting a canteen for all ovals at Lady Cutler. As you can imagine this is a huge task and I think we are nearly ready to go. ... I am in need of some volunteers to do the following: 1. Pick up pies fruit etc on a daily basis before 9 am each day and deliver to the canteen. 2. A not too big garden salad to be made each morning. 3. Any volunteers to make 2 quiches per day or any day. 3. Fruit salad to be made up each day. 4. A few small hands to help on Wednesday through to Thursday to sell some merchandise. 5. A volunteer to help Cook a breakfast BBQ each day. Cookie senior has volunteered for this job but Im sure he would appreciate a day if 2 off. 6. Any other assistance of time would be greatly appreciated in the canteen as Paddy is playing at Victoria Park and I would like to get to see some of his games. 06.01.2022 Hi Cougars. There is a training session this Saturday at 1pm, Dave Martin nets. With the grade season commencing the following weekend it would be good to see as many players there as possible with sides to be selected for the following week. After training we will be heading back to the Castlereagh for a season launch and to welcome our new Pommy import who arrives Saturday afternoon. It is important we get behind the Castlereagh who is our major sponsor and show our support. There will be nibbles catered for players, friends and families.

In a massive blow for the Cougars, the man they affectionately call SuperCoach couldnt overcome a back injury sustained in last weeks tough match against Rugby Blue. The club would like to congratulate little pocket dynamo Mat Sharp who will take over as captain for today.
