24.01.2022 Got this nice wahoo on yesterdays charter- it seems that they are making their appearance now as we dropped a double hook up of them as well just before coming home. First fish shook the lure straight after strike on the surface and the other one fell off right at the back of the boat- much to the dismay of everyone on board.

16.01.2022 Had a great day out with Mum Dad and 3 kids-getting amongst the snapper first up and then heading out to the wider reefs to look for a big fish to stretch Dad, Sean's , arms. We found a rock holding a school of cobia and Sean managed 3 on jigs with the kids teaming up to catch one on a livebait (with a leeedle bit of help from me lol)

16.01.2022 A bit of a mixed bag today, starting off with a good wahoo. Then a few trag on the 36fm followed by a yellowfin and a few perlies and snapper on the 50 fathoms.... Customers had a good day and it was good to see the wahoo atill hanging around. We dropped one as well that made an absolute mess of the new Halco. See more

09.01.2022 A better pic of todays wahoo

08.01.2022 We were greated by glass off conditions on tuesday for local regulars from burleigh. We headed out to the 36 fathom reef and the fisihing was straight on-the snapper were in good numbers but the conditions were just perfect. plastics , floaters and bottom rigs were all catching the fish , but it was Will's 14kg kingie that proved to be the fish of the session. Good fun had by all and a top feed to take home!!

06.01.2022 Last two days saw a mixed bag of bottom fish and pelagic fish- the wahoo are definately starting to increase in numbers. We had a terrible start to this mornings charter lossing 4 wahoo in a row due to various malfunctions. We headed out wider to catch the crew a feed of fish off the bottom -trag, moses perch , flathead etc was the order of the day. We then decided to swing for the fence and spent the last hour back on the troll to try and get some revenge on the wahoo. With 10 minutes to go before we had to pull in the lure off went the ratchet on the short lure and 10 minutes later Mitchell had his wahoo, here are some pics

04.01.2022 Had a regular crew on for Easter Friday and they were after Quality not Quantity- The call was made to head out to the 45 and 50fm reefs as there was just too many boats in close. After stocking up on livies we headed out. The current was absolutely raging , making fishing the bottom very tough but fortunately the twin engined Steber made backing up easier and the boys could still keep their baits down there. The day produced some good kings and a few cracking pearl perch. The biggest Perlie went 57cm. Enough fish to take home for the Easter weekend.

02.01.2022 Decided to delay the departure time to let the westerly settle and what a day it turned out to be!! the sea glassed out for the afternoon and after a tough morning the fish turned it on for the afternoon - snapper pigfish and 3 nice cobia finished off the day.

02.01.2022 Had a regular crew on board on Friday and with the weather looking great we opted to upgrade the charter to a shelf trip and head wide. It was great to get to some of the grounds that I havnt fished for a long time and the fish played the game. We got our first Bar Cod on a jig , heaps of kingies (we released a lot as well as keeping a few for a feed)- some good snapper and pearlies and a few cracking trag . A really good mixed bag with the boys and ladies arms being stretched!!

01.01.2022 I have been up in Darwin for the last month and have just returned to the Coast to be greeted by some great weather and sea conditions. We have been booked since I got back and it was really good to get on the water again, Fortunately the fish played the game with some good quality pearl perch, snapper, rosy job fish and kingfish. We did get out to the shelf one day and although the current was raging we did manage 3 nice blue eye. Looking good for the next few days too.
