25.01.2022 What a great day had by all, who attended the Dubbo/ Parkes Master’s Hockey Challenge on the 15th November 2020. Dubbo Women had a 3-1 win over Parkes and the Dubbo Men had a 2 all draw with Parkes, making Dubbo the overall winners for this season. A big thank you to the Dubbo Photo News and the Daily Liberal for a fantastic coverage of the day.

25.01.2022 We all know you were disappointed that our season was shortened because of the C-word (COVID haha) So get excited because SUMMER COMP 2020 IS HERE!!!!! Family night is a Tuesday night- Enter your family team of 5 plus subs or join a team on the day.... Womens/Mens/Mixed proposed for Wednesday night ( structure TBA depending on numbers) BBQ will be running- grab dinner after your game Cold drinks and ice blocks will be available at the canteen More information below Tag your friends... let them playing hockey!!

24.01.2022 Western Masters League The Womens Western Masters League teams braved the cold weather to have a few games this Sunday hosted by Dubbo. Dubbo v Lithgow 4-0- Dubbo taking the victory... Parkes v Mudgee 4-2- Parkes taking the victory Thankyou for supporting our junior cake stall... see you all in Parkes for the next round.

24.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE- Please see the letter below from Hockey NSW. Hockey will continue as normal but COVID safety plans must be followed. ... Please note the following changes Only 1 parent per child for junior competition. No spectators for senior games except one parent of juniors 15 years and under playing in the senior competition. Please be kind when signing in. We are following the rules and guidelines set by NSW Health and Hockey NSW we need to abide these rule so we can continue to play our beloved game.

19.01.2022 LAST WEEK OF JR HOCKEY FOR OUR 2020 WINTER COMP TOMORROW! Just a few housekeeping things for tomorrows games... In line with the recent NSW goverment announcment, both parents/carers can come and watch their kids play hockey tomrrow. As long as everyone adheres to social distancing guidelines and we dont have more than 500 in the complex. ... Please remeber to bring a shirt for your child to change into tomorrow after their game. The clubs will need to collect their shirts at the end of the seson. Unfortunatly we can't have our big end of year celebrations but after each game there will be a small handout for each age group as the kids come off the field. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomrrow! Bring on the hockey!!!

Please remember to bring a shirt to change into after the game so we can collect all team shirts.... This year we have seen our Jr A teams expand their skills, move their fitness to the next level and we've watched new friendships emerge... this is what playing a team sport is all about! Thank you to our fantastic coaches and trainers that volunteered their time this year. The kids have all said this year has been the most fun they have had at training!

18.01.2022 Our very successful family summer comp this year has seen a big commitment from our hockey families in the Dubbo area, with everybody enjoying there social outing. The family comp gives the Dubbo community the opportunity to play with all family members of any age. A great example is the Roberts’s family, with their up and coming little stars.

11.01.2022 Another great win for our Dubbo Western Masters League team on the weekend in Parkes. Dubbo played Mudgee and came away with a 6 nil win, to support this good win there was positive team work and a good display of short passing. Our top goal scorer was Kay Poulter putting away two goals. Little Champion A big shout out to Graeme Waters for his gold coaching. Our next game will be in Bathurst in October against Parkes.

11.01.2022 Hockey NSW is pleased to announce the return of our highly successful Centre of Development (COD) Program for Under 13s and 15s (DOB 2006-2009). REGISTRATIONS A...RE OPEN UNTIL MONDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, 12:00AM. (You are able to use your Active Kids Voucher as part of the payment process) With lots of identified skill amongst junior players in the Western region, COD is a great opportunity for to develop core and specialized skills, keep active, build strong friendships and progress along hockey pathways. In the Lithgow area alone, we have seen junior training numbers grow from 3 to 15 in just a few weeks. I personally encourage any junior players to take advantage of this great opportunity!
