21.01.2022 We love hosting our Youcamp visitors! Come check us out!

17.01.2022 A young motorbike rider asking Huey to send some rain. We have the sheep in the laneway and on the way to the shearing shed for our summer shearing.

16.01.2022 Finally getting some grass growing rain after a week of sitting around looking at radar images and weather forecasts. These drone photos show heat storms that looked great on radar but less than 5mm.

16.01.2022 Love flying the drone around over the farm. Even spotted a wooly ewe that missed shearing, she will get a haircut when we mark the lambs. Can't be much fun carrying that 5kg fleece around in this 42 degree heat.

13.01.2022 Did you know? The QCWA's focus product for 2020 is sheep and wool.

13.01.2022 Here we are pregnancy testing some mixed age ewes. They will start lambing as the tourist season commences so many people will get to see some of these lambs on the ground.

05.01.2022 Violent 10min wind storm blew this sheep feeder over, all 420kg, reckon this storm might have been a good test on a caravan to find all those kitchen drawers with broken catches that don't close properly. Interestingly a empty 10,000litre water tank on a 10m high tower 1km away didnt get blown off.

04.01.2022 Long bones, neck bones, skull bones, sheep bones, cow bones, rib bones, back bones, bones. A real hit for kids camping at Dunblane is finding bones and working out which part of the body they are from, which animal, how old was the animal, do they have more teeth than us? I am sure more than a few bones are sneaked into the van as parents have packed the tent to go.

03.01.2022 Got the drone out and flew right up to these broglas. Did they have a nest somewhere nearby or did they think, stand still and they won't notice us. Just great to have these fellas still alive at the (hopefully) end of a massive drought.

01.01.2022 Merry Christmas
