22.01.2022 Great day for the Brian Thorsby Memorial Shield today. Winners were Keegan Jones, Jane Levick and Phil Reeves in the triples, and Ron Moseley and Ken Russell in the pairs. Thank you Martin Thorsby for your continued support of this event.

21.01.2022 Consistency Singles Semi Final. Winners Shane Pritchard won over Jarrod O,Neill and Paul Hunt won over Chris McDonald. Congratulations to Shane and Paul, bad luck to Jarrod and Chris. Final to be advised next week.

16.01.2022 Beautiful day for Bowls nd 28 fellas turned up to try their luck in the Tuesday Clique challenge. 4 games of Triples and 1 game of Pairs. Winners were the pairs game consisting of Don Mackay and Kelly Preece with 32 points. Runners up were David Muir, Don Middlebrook and Ken Broadbent. The loser draw went to Keegan Jones, Fred Longbottom and John Copus.

14.01.2022 Today saw the finish of the washed out games of yesterday, four fellas left. Now let me think of the names and who they played, after all it was this morning.? Paul Hunt won over Ken Russell, Chris McDonald won over Damien Reeves, Jarrod O,Neill won over Tony Skimmings and this arvo Shane Pritchard won over John Middlebrook, all scores were by a reasonable margin. So the young men are into the semifinals. Thinking Shane plays Jarrod and Chris plays Paul ,but I have been known to be wrong, but I can’t remember when,

13.01.2022 Tuesday Clique Bowls, another 22 players for the last game of the year. Three games of Triples and one of Pairs, on a great day for bowls. Winners were David Muir, Steve Jones and John Parish by a count back on 32 points. Runners up were the pairs game consisting of John Kennedy and David Longbottom (Fred). The losers draw went to John Morgan Alan Fisher and Wayne Pritchard. Every one have a good New Year and a Safe one, see you on the Green next Tuesday.

08.01.2022 Hot off the press, The Fours Champion Ship Final. In a mighty close game that has not been witnessed for a long time. Craig Walters, Steven Neilson, Tony Skimmings and Jon Martin fell over the line. Defeated Shane Pritchard, Paul Hunt, Sheldon Hicks and Peter Osmond. 21 ends played score 22 all, extra end saw the winners by 1 point. 23 to 22 on 22 ends. Congratulations to both Teams for the way you played, unfortunately only one team can be the winners . Well done.

08.01.2022 Don't forget we have Twilight Bowls on tonight at 6:30pm!! Twilight Bowls is a great place for beginners to learn the game of Lawn Bowls and socialise with some great people. Anyone is welcome, bowls can be supplied if needed. Names in by 6pm - phone 4992 1635 to get your name in.

04.01.2022 Tuesday Clique Bowls, seen 20 fellas turn up for a game on a much cooler day than yesterday. Organisers put them on the Grass Green, smiles all round, they didn’t mind. The winners were Gary Hancock, Brian Macklin and Gary Newman with plus 32. The losers draw went to John Parish and Keith Edwards.

03.01.2022 Tuesday Clique Bowls played today and the results are in. 22 bowlers hit the green, so three games of Triples and one of Pairs. Winners were Fred long bottom, Brian Macklin and Peter Hannan with plus 33 points. Runners up were Gary Newman Don Fogarty and John Kennedy by a count back. The losers draw went to John Copus, Warren Eyb and Gary Picton. A hamwas raffled of with Steve Jones winning that. Could be a game next Tuesday for the last one of the year. The Bowling Club would like to thank ALL Tuesday Clique Bowlers for their support through what was a terrible year for everyone, hopefully next year will calm down. Merry Christmas and a safe and good New Year
