21.01.2022 Dunmore is open again as of early July. Just to assure all visitors to Dunmore I will be putting in place precautions with the cabin. Bookings will be booked four days apart with cleaning procedures recommended by health association.

21.01.2022 Dunmore's BIG trout! We are a catch and release fishery! All these BIG trout are still in the lake and are thriving! The big trout are starting to move about in the lake, early morning and evening you will see them rising and occasionally become airborn chasing insects. It is quite a sight and they leave a large rise signature on the surface, giving away their location! Book now

16.01.2022 Some beautiful solid rainbow trout caught by Chris in the last few days on tiny stonefly bead head nymphs, fished at a dead drift. We still have a few weekends available in August and September so please, to avoid disappointment, book as soon as you can! The water is freezing and the trout are thriving with some very big fish moving into the new hole along the front of the Mayfly, our new function centre. 15.01.2022 Just wanted to thank everyone who expressed there concern on our welfare with the current bushfires. We were lucky as they did not reach the property or DunmoreTroutWaters. There was a fire to the west and a spot fire to the north of us. We were in the middle, so it was scary at stages. The chopper did get some water from Dunmore as seen in the video. May have been smoked trout on the menu for the fire fighters!!!

15.01.2022 You could say Dunmore is full. We just had another 26ml which finally filled the dam and overflowed. Things are very quite here which allows me to finish off some projects. Anyway just saying hi to everyone out there who have visited Dunmore and letting you know we are still here when this virus ceases. Chin up everyone.

13.01.2022 A hard fighting Rainbow trout this morning after a freezing start to the day at -3.1 It has been a great week for fisherman despite the snow storms and frost, many braved it and well over 50 BIG trout caught were caught with plenty more on offer. We still have a few weekends available at the end of August so if you would like to tangle with Dummore’s big trout or just come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and stay the night, or two , book now!

10.01.2022 A Stunning Sunset and a hard fighting Trout captured by Chris last night at Dunmore. The large weed bloom is starting to die back along the lake edges, a good stretch along the deep hole at the wall is accessible for those land based fly and lure fishing! Float tubes most welcome! The fish are rising along the edge of the weed beds in abundance! Small black Nymphs working best.

05.01.2022 Dunmore has officially reopened! We are very happy to report that Lake Dunmore is at 100% Capacity after some very welcome rain in the last few months. The trout are in abundance and Chris said they are hard fighting. I’ve also included a sneak peak at our New function centre The Matfly it is almost complete, just a few finishing touches to go. There is now a deep hole right across the front of the Mayfly and new casting platforms! July weekends have filled up quickly af...ter we announced last week we were reopening. There are spots available weekdays in July however if you are looking for a weekend, please contact us asap about August weekends.
