24.01.2022 Mabuhay kapamilya In light of the recent typhoon, we would like to shine a spotlight on a donation drive that's entirely open for locals to show their support to. The initiative is centred on lending a helping hand to typhoon victims in Bicol, giving them a jumpstart to rebuild their houses or small businesses. Any amount shared will be deeply appreciated and the organisation will make sure that every centavo will be fully accounted for. An acknowledgement receipt will be... issued to the donor. It's highly encouraged that you give the organisation's FB page a like to keep updated with the donation drive For locals in Australia you can donate to this account: FERDIE MERLIN BSB: 062392 Account No.: 10287489 Check the poster for more details!

05.01.2022 Mabuhay kapamilya! 2020 was like crowned Miss Universe only for Steve Harvey to realise that he read the wrong name, aha. Regardless, we're shining a spotlight on the Pinoys of UNSW and their experiences with such a memorable year... memorable for all the wrong and right reasons! Humans of New York don't interact Today's participant is the super cool Enzo Gutierrez! ... 2020 was a shocker. I came into Australia and I came into uni, ready for anything. But unexpectedly, Covid-19 happened and it changed all aspects of my life. Nonetheless, I’m very happy that somehow, everything’s going back to normal and we’re now on the road back to a better status quo. 2020 saw me improve, adapt, and overcome. This year saw me do and experience stuff which my 2019 self would be so proud of. I learned how to cook well, study harder than ever, reach out to so much more people, and a lot more. Covid-19 may have knocked me down, but I emerged even stronger and better than ever. 2020 taught me how to become hotter. You did not read that wrong. By hotter, I mean better. My 2020 version of myself is currently the best version of myself. Slowly but surely, I’m working on my flaws and capitalising on my strengths so that I’ll just become hotter and hotter as time passes. 2020 made me grateful for self love. This year I learned how to love myself, which I almost never did before. I lost more weight, played more tennis, thought more about the present and the future, went to many places all by myself, and so much more. I realised and saw the value of prioritising myself, and I’m still working on it and will continue to do so until I’ve mastered the art of self love. --- If you'd like to share how this year went for you, DM the Filosoc page! We're not intimidating, just obnoxious! Cup of milk, let's rock and roll
