24.01.2022 The Geberit 360 inlet valve is a high quality inlet valve which will fit most most Australian bottom entry cisterns. The pressure range in which the filling valve operates is 10-1000 kPa (0.1 to 10 bar). All parts exposed to pressure are made entirely from PBT which is a chlorine and acid resistant material.... 18.01.2022 The Bestter inlet valve is an excellent generic replacement. Competitively priced at just $15.60 and with a robust brass thread on the bottom. Watch our "how to" video for full fitting instructions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF1jt3KahjY&t=49s

16.01.2022 As we pointed out in a previous post, a leaking toilet can be a very expensive item indeed. We had and email from Serge who is a plumber in rural NSW. He had a customer who had been away for a couple of weeks without realising that he had a leaking flush valve seal. The new seal cost just $6.50 plus postage but a tank of water was $290.00. Ouch! Don’t forget, a stich in time saves 9. Contact us and we can get the parts out to you Express delivery if you need them in a hurry. Believe me, it can be worth it.

15.01.2022 Discount day today. Anyone looking for a complete Geberit Twico 2 flush valve, they are on special offer for today only. $82.00 instead of an already competitive $92.00 https://toiletspares.com.au//geberit-tweeco-2/category/19/

13.01.2022 The weather is looking lovely here in Brisbane. It would be great to head up to Double Island point for the Weekend and forget about water leaks for a while. Just make sure you don't end up like this guy!

10.01.2022 The Twico 1 valve is a common dual flush valve. Often branded as Caroma in Australia and New Zealand. It can be overhauled using the following instructions.

09.01.2022 A simple explanation of the difference between parallel threads and taper threads. If you are wondering why putting more thread tape on a parallel thread isn't sealing, here is the reason why! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JugYQY235I

07.01.2022 The old "washing machine overflow into the dunny" trick. Not cool guys. Thanks to The Plumber's Crack for some awesome pics and tips and tricks. I wanted to share this straight onto my page but wasn't able to do so. For some reason, FB isn't giving me the option.

07.01.2022 Good to start the week with a laugh! Blind people need toilets too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0vJ3qNN6ok

07.01.2022 As the title suggests, this video explains how to set up and adjust your Geberit Twico 2 before fitting into the cistern.

07.01.2022 I can't believe it is discount Wednesday already. For today only, we have the good old Bestter inlet valve on offer. This valve is old school with a brass thread on the bottom. It is adjustable in height and will fit in most bottom entry cisterns with a half inch thread. This valve is on offer for an insanely cheap $10.80. Limit of 3 per customer.

05.01.2022 THE WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE TOILET! There is one type of toilet which is the world’s most expensive, and you might own one. What type of toilet is the most expensive? It’s a LEAKING TOILET! If you have one of these bad boys in your bathroom, it could be costing you hundreds of dollars a month especially if you are on tank water. What’s the best way to check for a leaker? One give-away is an occasional hiss of water filling into the cistern when no-one has used the loo. You wil...l often catch this sound in the quiet of night time. This would suggest a leaking flush valve. Two other ways we recommend are either to drape a length of toilet paper around the bowl (it should catch the leak) or put a couple of drops of food colouring in the cistern and after half an hour if any colour leaks into the bowl you’ll see the evidence. Usually there are only two causes for the leak. It will either be the flush valve or the inlet valve. If it’s the inlet valve the water level rises in the cistern and leaks over the top of the overflow tube. You will see this when you lift off the cistern lid and observe the high-water level running into the overflow tube. If it’s the flush valve then the water will slowly drain out until the float drops and then the inlet valve starts hissing as it tops the water level back up. This cycle of water leak and top up repeats continuously (hence the intermittent hissing sound). Toiletspares.com.au has the parts to fix your loo. Click the button at the top marked Shop Now to access the parts you need or cut and paste toiletspares.com.au into your browser to visit our new website. Parts are shipped promptly and larger items go Express by default. See more

03.01.2022 Well, it's a wet Monday here in Brisbane so if you're feeling a bit down, here's some toilet humour to cheer you up and kick start your work week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Giu4UkGbOew

03.01.2022 Here's a toilet tale with a twist. Once I was an overnight guest under the roof of kind strangers.Of course I met their family of two kids and two pedigree red setter dogs. During the I night I awoke to hear the most unusual slurping noises from the toilet room. These were well-to-do people. I wondered, "surely they cannot have some secret toilet behavior unknown to normal people?". ... I slept restlessly and was awakened early by the strange toilet noise coming once more. Angling myself, I peered down the hallway to observe the toilet door. There were my hosts's two large red setter dogs emerging looking happy and contented. Evidently the toilet bowl was their on-demand water supply! Do you have any tales like this to share?

02.01.2022 Last week we had some technical issues with our site. It appears that we are better at fixing toilets than we are at fixing websites. The problems have now been resolved however. Apologies to those who had difficulties and thanks for contacting us so we could sort out your order. Best regards, Harry
