25.01.2022 May be of interest to those farmers in the Loddon Shire (which is just north and west of us here in Dunolly)

25.01.2022 NO FIRES ON TFB’s

24.01.2022 For those contemplating burn offs in the near future

23.01.2022 Once again summer is approaching - spring will make things grow - so will we be able to access your property should there be a fire. Nothing worse than branches hanging over a driveway.

23.01.2022 Today we mark one year since the start of the devastating bushfires which deeply affected Victorian communities across the state. On 21 November, 2019 the first... ‘code red’ fire danger rating in almost a decade was declared in the Mallee and Northern Country, and dry lightning strikes in East Gippsland that started three fires which grew to a widespread bushfire disaster that burned for months. Today we reflect on the devastation and challenges that followed 21 November and the incredible support from all emergency services who came together to aid the communities impacted by the unprecedented fire season. 17.01.2022 Don’t leave piles of green waste near your home. Reducing the vegetation around your home is one of the most important things you can do to keep your home safe in a bushfire.

14.01.2022 Did you know you can't smell smoke when you're asleep? All smoke alarms in your home should be interconnected - this means that no matter where a fire starts - all alarms will sound.

09.01.2022 Our members are pretty special people not only do they step-up and serve their local communities, they have a strong history of serving their country too. On ...this day 75 years ago the deadliest conflict in human history, World War II, came to an end. Hundreds of CFA members enlisted to serve their country and tragically, many never came home. Today we honour those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and the many more who returned and continued to proudly serve their state through CFA. We are forever grateful #VPDAY75 --- These photos show just a small selection of honour boards and memorials which feature in many CFA stations across Victoria.
