23.01.2022 Good news everyone...... Dental is fully back up and running after the COVID restrictions.

22.01.2022 IMPORTANT ALERT Due to strict triage processes now in place across all medical centres the online booking options have been switched off until further notice. All appointment enquiries will need to be by telephone. Staff will be asking more then usual triage questions. Phone consultations are being implemented to help with case loads and to better manage potential infection risks. The unprecedented virus event means that the way we process patients through the practice will be different to usual. We ask all patients to please work with us proactively during this time.

20.01.2022 School holidays are here! Now's the time to get the families dental check and sparkling smiles ready for the holiday season. Kids - book now and join in our colouring competition and we have some great treats for all the kids (non lolly treats of course :-)) Parents - this year due to many families incomes being affected by COVID your child may now be eligible for dental services through Medicare. If your not sure call us and our staff will be able to run an online check with your Medicare card.

18.01.2022 Hi everyone, Durack Medical Centre will be closed over the Christmas weekend Friday 25 - Monday 28th December, reopening Tuesday 26th. Please check your medication stocks as soon as possible to ensure you have enough to get you through that 4 day closure.

18.01.2022 We are currently switching all phone lines to nbn. We are experiencing some down time with our phones as part of the process. Please be patient with us as we work through this process. Our technicians are working around the clock to get services back to normal as soon as possible.

17.01.2022 UPDATE Phones are now back up and running. There may still be small pockets of time where calls might be affected. If this happens please just wait a couple of minutes and try again. We thank everyone for their patience in regard to this.

16.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE Over the last 24 hours our telephone lines have been taking a massive number of phone calls. This may mean that you may not get through first try. Please persevere and ring again as you will eventually get through. PLEASE DO NOT COME DOWN TO THE CLINIC WITHOUT CALLING AHEAD TO ARRANGE YOUR VISIT - YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

15.01.2022 We recommend patients review the attached list of locations and times and if they have been in any of those locations at those times to please be conscious to monitor themselves for any symptoms. If they do start to develop any symptoms to stay at home and contact the practice by phone. Thankyou

11.01.2022 WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A HIGH DEMAND FOR APPOINTMENTS. IF GIVEN ENOUGH NOTICE WE CAN FILL OUT WAIT LISTS. WE EARNESTLY ASK THAT ALL PATIENTS WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THEIR APPOINTMENTS CALL US IN A TIMELY MANNER TO CANCEL SO THAT WE CAN OFFER THAT TIME TO OTHER PATIENTS. MOST DAYS OUR NUMBER OF NO SHOW BOOKINGS IS EQUAL TO THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS WAITING FOR AN APPOINTMENT. INDEED A SAD WASTE.

09.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE Until further notice we will not be running a Sunday session. Because of increased demand put on the clinic by Covid-19 our Doctors are working harder and longer then ever. In order to avoid them burning out it has been decided that we will not run a Sunday session in order to give our Doctors at least some time to recover and rest in order to continue on the following weeks. We know that all our Patients will appreciate that the health and well being of our Doctors and Staff is very important during these unprecedented events.
