19.01.2022 Week 6 into our first term of dance for the year! We practiced Superman’s to help strengthen their backs. Long term this will help them with posture and beautiful gentle ballet arms. For their first attempt, they did so well! They mentioned it hurt so they must have been doing something right

18.01.2022 Letting gravity do the work! This position is great to achieve the middle splits as it supports the hip bones in the correct position in the socket and stops the knees from rolling forward. It also avoids over stretching as it lets gravity do its thing! Easy to do and a must do!

13.01.2022 On Thursday’s we offer Tiny Tots Dance Classes from age 3 to age 8. In our classes we cover: - Basic Ballet movements - Basic Ballet positions... - Ballet, Contemporary & Jazz routines - Learn & locate muscles in the body Our Tiny Dancers use up their beans during a 30 minute class doing a number of different routines, while giving them an understanding of the correct technique from an early age! This will benefit them not only in a future of dance but will be information they take with them and use for a lifetime. We’d love for you to join us! 12.01.2022 This is Devon! Devon is one of our awesome students currently doing some one on one classes. Dev started with us at the beginning of 2019 and has already improved out of site! She has very little background experience in dance but has always loved expressing herself through movement. Dev has always wanted to learn how to dance so she has decided to commit to learning this new skill for 1 year! How awesome is that ... You can never be too late to start! 06.01.2022 We have a ton of ballet shoes, tap shoes & leotards in different sizes. 75% of purchased second hand items will go to Charity! Our chosen charity for this term is charity: water! Charity Water are an organisation devoted to providing clean access to water in areas where there is none. Nearly 1 in 10 people world wide do not have access to clean water, severely impacting health, education & economy If you have any old dance clothes sitting at home and you’re looking at get...ting rid of them, this is your perfect opportunity! 06.01.2022 Being a Personal Trainer for 6 years & growing up in the Dancing World, I quickly understood later in life that dancing itself offered very little conditioning, strength & fitness. The older I became the quicker I realized how important it was to engage regularly in cardio & lifting light weights for high reps... Ladies & Gents, this does not make you BULKY! If only I knew this at an earlier age! I would have assisted and helped my physical body in ways that dance classes sim...ply are not created to do.
