25.01.2022 Tonight's meeting had a great turn out. Thank you to everyone who attended. As outgoing President I would like to thank everyone who volunteered last year and a massive thank you to Cheryl Dell. Without you I would have lost my mind and the club wouldn't be still running today. Congratulations to the new committee. I wish you luck moving forward and am sure the club will continue to thrive this year. Please welcome our new committee and don't be shy in lending a hand if you... can. Please be patient as everyone is new to all of this and please remember that they are also volunteers. 25.01.2022 OK guys we had 4 people turn up to the AGM tonight. Bit of a poor outcome. But on a good note we have nominations for both Treasurer and Secretary. Just need to fill the president position. I will work out a date in the near future to hold another meeting, so if you would like to help keep the club running and think you would like to nominate for the President position or any other position such as Vice president, canteen Coordinator or registrar, please contact the page or myself. If we do not fill the president position at the next meeting our little club will fold. This ultimately means no soccer club for your children. Cheers, Ange

24.01.2022 Mini Roos will kick off next Friday 31st at 3.30pm Everyone that has enrolled will have received an email today with some important information including Queensland’s Return to play guidelines. Please let the page know or email [email protected] if you did not receive this email.... On Sunday an additional email with our Club specific COVID guidelines will be sent to that same registered email. Registration is still open

22.01.2022 END OF SEASON As we all know the end of the mini roos 2020 season is coming to an end. Our final training session will be Friday 18th September. ... We invite all families to stay afterwards for an awards ceremony for all the mini roo superstars. This will go from approx 4.30-5.00pm. Please check your emails for further correspondence. 19.01.2022 Miniroos Participant packs have finally arrived and will be available for collection after training today. They have all been labeled so if you can't make tonight's training we will bring them next week. See you all at 3.30pm. :)

19.01.2022 The following email has just been sent to all registered members: Good morning Mini Roos, Tomorrow is our first training session and the committee needs all parties to comply with what controls are currently in place. The controls are to be strictly adhered to in regards to the government current return to play guidelines to ensure we are keeping everyone safe and providing the kids an active and enjoyable experience.... Training will start at 3.30pm at the Lucy Daly Oval, However tomorrow can we please ask that you arrive 10mins earlier. This will assist with the following: Ø Complete COVID Club policy form Ø Review Club COVID Layout The following information is also to be noted: Ø All Players, parents and spectators are to provide contact details on the attendance register Ø Kids to wear comfortable loose clothing and closed in shoes (No uniforms are required this season). Ø Please be advised that there will be no access to the undercover seating area. This will be barricaded off. If you wish to sit during the training you are welcome to bring your own chair. Ø Maintain to social distancing > 1.5Mtrs Ø Hand sanitiser will be supplied and is mandatory to be applied both before and after training Ø Players must bring their own labelled drink bottle Ø Abide by all signage and barricading around the field. Please see attached copy of the Club COVID layout and COVID policy that we will get you all to sign tomorrow. With the current pandemic No players, parents or spectators are to attend training if they have any flu like symptoms, been unwell or in contact with known or suspected COVID-19 persons or hotspots in the past 14 days Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. 17.01.2022 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST We have the opportunity to get the Dysart Devils up and running as early as NEXT MONTH as restrictions start to ease! We are asking for an expression of interest for the 2020 season.... We want PLAYERS as well as getting COACHES that are interested to put their hands up This is so we can get the best possible arrangements for the club We have a few different approaches including extending the season Enrollment with qld football is $112 and $178 for youths. For this season we will run the old uniforms to keep expenses down and offer the new tops from 2021. Please reply below if you would be interested in joining the DEVILS for 2020! We will be down at IGA this Saturday with Enrollment forms and information for this Soccer season. We will keep you updated on the progress. Let's get soccer started for 2020!

14.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS Mini Roos will be starting on 31st July!! Due to the current global situation and the lack of interest this year we have decided to change things up a little.... We will be running the Mini Roos program this year. The program will be open for ages 3 - 11 years. It will consist of 8 weekly trainings which will be held at the soccer fields on a Friday afternoon for 1 hour. We have 2 amazing coaches who will take the training and get the kids active and back into soccer for 2020. Please be advised that we will be adhering the COVID regulations during these training sessions. The price for the 8 week program is $50 and includes a Mini Roos starter pack for the kids.
