17.01.2022 There's two weeks left of our Black Series Camper promo and hopefully one of the four trailers will be won by a Tablelands local! This week we'll look at another tool - the hammer. While the hammer was originally employed as a weapon of war, it is nowadays used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent to the object we are trying to hit.

13.01.2022 Here are the winners of the four Black Series Camper Trailers: Gary James, NSW. Adam Mayhood, VIC. Bruce Hetherington, WA.... Peter King, Qld. Also winner of a $100 voucher to be used at our store is Mike Cappo, Malanda, Qld. See more

06.01.2022 Last weeks of the Black Series Camper Trailer promotion, and with Cycle Qld through town on the weekend, maybe a tool used on bikes is in order. The screwdriver is a tool for opening paint cans. Sometimes used to convert common slotted screws into non-removable or tamper-proof screws while also butchering your palm. It is also classed as a wood chisel when sold to electricians.

05.01.2022 Now that the Targa Rally has just left Malanda, maybe the perfect tool to explain would be the two tonne engine hoist. Quite simply, this tool is used for testing the maximum tensile strength of everything you forgot to disconnect from your motor before removing it. And while we're talking automotive, how about the hydraulic floor jack! This is used for lowering your car onto the ground once you have performed your repairs and maintenance, immediately trapping the jack handle under the front of the vehicle.

01.01.2022 Our Black Series Camper Trailer promotion is coming to an end, and we're hoping a Tablelands local wins one of the four campers available! Before it all wraps up though, we'll cover two more tools: 1. The 'table saw' - is a large stationary circular saw commonly used to launch wood projectiles for testing wall integrity. 2 . An 'easy out', designed to remove bolts with rounded heads, is a small well-used tool whose name is an oxymoron, like 'fun run'
