23.01.2022 Hey guys. check out Debra from Karli’s Health Centre who we are partnering with to help support members of the Deaf Community who may be feeling isolated or lonely over the holiday season.
23.01.2022 Tonight we are pleased to release our event as an AUSLAN version for our deaf community followers. We encourage you to share this post and tag below anyone or a...ny group that you feel may be interested in sharing in the experience of such a bespoke event. Our recent Winter Solstice was an amazing success, watched by over 22K of you, and it's because of the loyalty of our followers that we are able to spread our message about mental health and suicide far and wide so we thank you once again. Over the next few weeks we plan to re-share some of the wonderful content from the night in smaller bitesize chunks for those of you that would like to watch our speakers and performers again.
22.01.2022 Important for everyone to right now
19.01.2022 Share this with your family and friends for this Saturday's Facebook LIVE event with some Deaf Contestants and 4 amazing judges. Keep an eye out on signwilf's page this Saturday at 6.30pm
14.01.2022 Wonderful, and they are continuing to learn and improve how they do it ( Eg shared screen with interpreter instead of squinting to try and see someone in a tiny box lol) great work)
13.01.2022 The mandatory face mask order has caused a lot of concerns for my fellow deaf community members. Deafness is invisible, and people will assume you can hear. ... Sister and I ran some personal errands, and we appreciated the patience people displayed after we showed them our cards and they accommodated our needs. Here's our tip, make your own card, it will help you. And remember you are a valued member of society too!
12.01.2022 I’m sure we have a few still learning AUSLAN who will enjoy this story!
11.01.2022 Inspired by central Victorian James-Anthony Consiglio, who posted a few weeks ago, hoping the people might learn the sign for 'smile' to help those in the deaf ...community. The ABC partnered with Expression Australia to create this video. You might not realise this, but masks have made it especially hard for the Deaf community to read people during COVID. Expression Australia have kindly given us some basic Auslan signs we all should learn
11.01.2022 Hi Everyone, it's been way too long since we've caught up so I thought we could do it virtually via Zoom! See instructions in the event. Sorry for the short notice but if people are keen we can organise another one!

06.01.2022 Great step in the right direction
03.01.2022 A message from St Peter's Eastern Hill and Heaven At The Hill, two of our wonderful partners in the initiative to prepare meals in the Parliament House kitchens and deliver them to people most in need during this coronavirus emergency.
02.01.2022 Thanks to the Winter Solstice Organisers and Jessica who’s amazing skills provides to opportunity to reach more people. What a gift of this import message.
01.01.2022 Hope the right people get the message.
01.01.2022 Next time you're feeling the frustration of being confined to your home during COVID-19 crisis, be thankful you have one. Tom Tilley met up with some of Sydney...'s homeless to find out what it means for them, and what the government can do to support some of the most vulnerable during this crisis. See more
