12.01.2022 VW GOLF MK4 R32 E85 conversion Cameron’s MK 4 is absolutely beautiful Delivered to us with a forged engine and a generic ECU remap (98oc...t) the golf put down an impressive 142wkw. We upgraded the fuel system and installed a WMI system to further enhance the package. The end results are very impressive with 188wkw after a custom Etuners ECU calibration for E85. 08.01.2022 Race Meeting Report I don’t think that could have realistically gone any better?! Firstly, thank you to all the messages that I received from competitors and... friends. Was really cool! Qualifying saw the first time I’ve run new tyres at SMSP for years, and I surprised myself, by going a full two second faster than I’ve been before. Unofficially the fastest IPRA RX7 ever around SMSP, with a 1:40.8, only to be pipped to pole position by Jordan Cox - Cox Motorsport in his mental turbo Swift! First person to congratulate me was Peter Ingram, who also reminded me that it didn’t count as it wasn’t in a race.... it counts, mate. Lets gloss over the spin, new tyres and cases of beer that I owe the crew, which happened immediately after... Race 1: I got a great start and led the race, which I’d never done before, and it showed as I made a heap of driving errors. Jordy swung past me down the main straight and after a safety car restart I held onto P2. Race 2: I didn’t get a great start and got swamped by Scott Tutton’s EVO and Jordan ran away up the road. Unfortunately the Swift has a mechanical, so Jordan dropped out. I managed to pass Tutton and lead for the next 8 laps, fighting rear grip issues. I held on just, to take my first ever race win!! Only to be given my first ever jump start and demote me to second place. Race 3: We tweaked the car and it was a lot better. Unfortunately Scott broke the EVO on the warm up lap and we didn’t get to race hard again. However, I kept the Mazda straight and kept to a pace I was happy with to finally get my first race win. The last year has seen a stack of effort put into the car, so to run it all day without one oil leak, not one vibration and no alarms on the dash, was amazing. I know I’ve thanked the guys who have helped before, but again, thank you Justin, Dan, Josh, Phil, Jack and Lachy. It can’t go unmentioned the support and help I’ve had from Linda and my family recently. Between border restrictions and work difficulties, we could have easily not raced yesterday. Thanks guys! Quick mention to Mike and Josh, who had some bad accidents yesterday. Hopefully we see you at the track again soon. 06.01.2022 World Time Attack Challenge got me all excited last weekend and I'm keen to get the Mazda fixed and back out on track. This video is from a test day mid this ye...ar, sliding around and grabbing gears. The Sydney Motorsport Park gear ratios aren't that bad at Wakefield Park either now, with the new gearbox. Should rip when I shorten the ratio again!! Looking forward to sorting it out and having some fun again. Thank you to the guys and girls that help me out: - ClubRacer Engineering - Armour Motorsport Services - Oxytech Powder Coatings - Earls Performance - Selectmaz - Race Motorbodies - Mothers Polish Australia

02.01.2022 Today, was a good day! Thanks you to al the legends who have helped out a bunch recently. Particularly Justin at ClubRacer Engineering, Jack at Earls Performance and Josh Love. When do the tracks open?

02.01.2022 Race Meeting Report - SMSP Man, that was a hard weekend. But super enjoyable! After a really difficult Friday, trying a range of different things to keep ...temps down, we dove into qualifying knowing we had a very fast car... for about two laps. Although I wasn’t happy with my driving, we qualified in second place. Race 1: More ducting changes and no benefit. After leading early, I waved a couple of blokes past and nursed the car from lap 2 to 12, remarkably, finishing third. Race 2: Annnnnd we fixed it! Temps down and I had a racecar again. Woeful start and Immediately in a massive battle for fourth with Nigel Williams, before moving my way up to second. Laps 3-10 only varied in lap time by seven tenths, which was amazing in such hot conditions. Race 3: In the dark!! What a bloody fantastic experience! Why don’t all tracks have lights?!! Got another rubbish start and the worlds fastest Suzuki Swift beat me into turn one, just in time to blow another smoke screen ! The track and car was the best I’d had all weekend, but unfortunately at the end of lap 2, I managed to jam the gearbox into neutral and rolled to a stop. Race over. A quick tap with a hammer in the pits after the race and she’s back to normal and drove onto the trailer. Weird, annoying, motorsport.... The weekend was long, hot, trying and ended with two podiums and DNF. But still stacks of fun!!! My crew Justin McMahon and Josh Love worked like absolutely legends all weekend, and luckily we got to hang out with Dan Ridley, Lachlan McBrien, Phil Armour and David Loftus. Thank you so so much, guys! They were two long, and hot days! Huge thank you also to Linda who let me go racing, on her birthday!!! I owe you for that one!!
