19.01.2022 - : Mawson Lakes School will be closed on Monday 16 November following SA Health advice that a student who attends the school is a close co...ntact to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with SA Health guidance the site will shut for a minimum of 24 hours. People who need to self-isolate will be contacted with further instructions. A thorough clean of all relevant areas will be carried out. Parents have been notified.

19.01.2022 Dear Families, With SA’s new restrictions in place from midnight tonight and effective for the next 6 days please be aware that we are strictly only open for Essential workers. Please be aware that this lockdown has deemed essential workers slightly different from last time. This means your child must only attend care if both parents/guardians are essential workers and are not home to care for your child, due to being at work. Please email us if your child will need care and what your occupation is and the name of your workplace. Sorry for the inconvenience but please be aware that we need to be able to contact trace and provide evidence of our essential families

17.01.2022 Please Read Dear Families, In light of all the recent developments across SA due to Covid, as a service we will be taking extra precautions during this time. From tomorrow Thursday 19th of Nov - ... All families are not to go into your child/ren's room but instead you will need to drop off & pick up your child/ren either at the front office/ front door or at the door of your child's room where our educators will assist you. We also ask upon entering the centre please be wearing a mask. No parents, siblings or other family members will be able to go into the children's rooms during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience but at this time we need to take precautions to keep all families, children, staff and our community safe. We appreciate your cooperation.

16.01.2022 The Treefrog children would like to say thank you to Chelsea and her mum from bringing the chrysalis in so they can watch them hatch.

16.01.2022 The Treefrog children had an exciting day today. They got to watch a butterfly hatch. Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar's body changes, until it eventually emerges as a butterfly. This process is known as metamorphosis

15.01.2022 Dear parents, Santa is visiting us Monday morning between 9-12. If your child is booked in please make sure you've given permission for your child to have a visit with santa. If not then please collect a form either today or Monday and sign along with $2 for the cost of photo. If your child is not booked in please pm the centre's Facebook page or phone to organise a time for you to be visiting.

Wintulichs is conducting a recall... of Metwurst Garlic 300g, 375g, 500g, 700g, Metwurst Plain 700g and Metwurst Pepperoni 375g. The products are marked with a use by of 08/04/20 and have been available for sale at Woolworths, IGA and independent stores in SA.

11.01.2022 We said goodbye to some beautiful little souls this month, these children and their families have become part of our little community over the past 4 or more year. Stand tall and be confident little people, you will make new friends and have fun.

09.01.2022 Dance with Val this week was a blast. The children loved it. They all had a turn to be on "stage" and dance to the song "move it"

09.01.2022 We now have 2 new additions to the centre. These two cuties will be housed in the Treefrog room at night and the over 3s yard during the day. We are needing suggestions of names. They are boy and girl.

Just a reminder also that we are being asked to show our respect tomorrow by standing at the end of our drive ways and 'Lighting up the Dawn' a small way we as a community can show our appreciation.
