10.01.2022 We were delighted to be able to help Janeen and Rhiarna, when we heard of the difficulty, they were having getting a trampoline for Rhiarna’s therapy. Janeen was really frustrated by her communication with the trampoline supplier and after multiple phone calls, she still felt like she was getting nowhere. Our Plan Manager Corinne excels in these circumstances. Once Janeen explained what they needed, Corinne escalated the issue with the supplier and persistently followed ...up until the trampoline had been delivered. When the trampoline proved tricky to assemble, Corinne arranged for two of our Developmental Support Workers, Connor and Josh to take it apart and assemble it correctly for them. Rhiarna loves her new trampoline and we couldn’t be happier for them! #planmanagement #developmentalsupportworkers

10.01.2022 We’ve been experimenting with different textures at playgroup. As playdough has always been a hit, we trialled Cloud Dough during the last week of term. It is super easy and inexpensive to make with only 2 ingredients and the kids (and parents) loved it. Cloud Dough has a smooth texture, it can be powdery or firm when pressed or moulded. It is perfect for moulding, shaping, squeezing, pressing and sculpting into different shapes. Cloud dough provides a great hand-on sensory... learning experience for children. It’s a great activity for you to try at home to cook together and then play together. The very simple recipe can be found in the images.
