24.01.2022 Kumihimo is so relaxing. It's a simple, but stunning technique. Depending on your chosen colour pattern, or materials the different looks are endless.

20.01.2022 Update on the cream kumihimo project - braid is all done and awaiting the finishing touch of the cord ends and clasp. I braided the Gold Stone dragon pendant into the middle of the necklace.

20.01.2022 I created this beautiful tree of life pendant yesterday while volunteering at the Burdekin Artisans Art Space. The ring is dyed Agate and the leaves are honey coloured tourmaline chips. These pendants can be made into either a necklace or a sun catcher.

17.01.2022 Had a busy day today preparing for the BACA open day next Sunday, 8th November at the old church in Brandon. Finally finished off quite a few UFO's (unfinished objects) Here is a sneak peek of what will be for sale. Great Christmas gift ideas!

15.01.2022 My project today was a kumihimo bracelet made with Toho seed beads and Czech glass bicones. Now to add the clasp and it's all done.

10.01.2022 Here's today's effort so far... Sparkly rhinestone encrusted Angel earrings in crystal and blue, and a Tree of Life necklace and bracelet set.

10.01.2022 Tonight's project is the beginning of a 2, maybe 3 piece set, made with Cherry Quartz tumbled crystals and Imperial Crystal glass rondelles. I chose kumihimo to keep the pieces light and very flexible. The Imperial crystal has a lovely golden AB (Aurora Borealis) finish to it that will really shine and sparkle in the light. Can't wait to show you all the finished project!

04.01.2022 Here are another couple of Trees of Life I have made. The first one is Labradorite, the second is Aquamarine. Both on dyed Agate rings. As you can see each tree is one of a kind.

03.01.2022 Here are a couple of designs for the littlies. What's better than Christmas trees and bonbons? Emma will be making 2 different versions of these at the BACA Open Day. These are made with dyed reconstituted Howlite.

01.01.2022 These lovely charm bracelets will be available to try on at the BACA Open Day tomorrow from 10am until 4pm tomorrow, Sunday 9th November. The peacock and flower beads are made of shell, imperial crystal glass beads and Czech glass. The green and blue bracelet at the bottom is made using Green Agate, Czech pressed glass and imperial crystal beads. I can also remove links to adjust the size to suit your wrist.
