25.01.2022 Dear all, We will not be having our traditional Christmas Carol Ball this year (originally planned for Sat. 19 December), but ... - on Wednesday 16 December from 5:30 to 9pm at our home studio in Yarralumla we will be holding an end of year combined class for everyone who has been a class subscriber this spring (we have to limit it just to those participants as our COVID limit is 22)....Continue reading

25.01.2022 Dear all, Three quick notes: 1) We have a couple of places free in both our early and late Wednesday evening classes that just started up this week. Please go to http://www.earthlydelights.com.au/upcoming and chose either the 5:30-7:30 or 7:30-9:30 slot and join us this coming week (we'll catch you up on the fun and friendship awaits you!). If you don't know where our Yarralumla home studio is, we'll send you directions.... 2) Do join me remotely tonight (22nd November) when I present a 90 minute session on 'New choreographies to historic music- the creative process'. I'm the first presenter in a day-long program running out of Finland. The Facebook event is at https://www.facebook.com/events/445292106436307/ (but the event itself is not held on FB). The event starts 9am Helsinki time, which is 6pm Canberra time. The first hour is a meet and greet, and I and a few other EDHDAers plan to tune in about halfway through that at 6:30pm Canberra time. Appreciating the time difference the organiser has kindly given myself the first slot for my presentation, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm Canberra time. It is followed at 8:30 by the presentation in English of a new pandemic choreography which a Finnish group has filmed and should be fun to watch. After that they break for 'lunch' and I might retire to bed, but others can of course stay on into the night if they will. 3) Don't forget the Derwent Valley Regency Festival co-ordinated by David Wanless next weekend in Tasmania- book online at https://folktas.org/derwent-regency-festival-2020/ Till soon, John Gardiner-Garden.
