24.01.2022 Has been such a challenging time for so many and it’s still not over. Stress builds up in times like these, tempers flare and political views are made known. We see the best in community spirit and often some disturbing ugliness. Yoga teaches us to find balance and not be drawn into the dross. It helps us live compassionately.... Yoga helps us see with clarity and gives us the strength to move forward with kindness. My studio is open in south Durras (as long as it’s safe to be) for anyone needing a gentle stretch, deep relaxation, chat or cup of tea - classes are free up to easter- to help others find their centre as stress can hang in for a very long time after the crisis has gone! 24.01.2022 Given current bushfire status around South Durras and surrounds there’s obviously no yoga this Saturday (which was to be the last class of the year) Sending all my neighbours, community and friends prayers for safe passage through these coming very trying days ahead. My husband and I are safe. Our beautiful forest and animals are sadly not. Be sensible about what you do. As hard and helpless it feels to not be there we know being safe is the best option. Palrayers of healing to all and gratitude to our amazing fire crews

07.01.2022 I’ve been very quiet since covid restrictions came in. No classes still for a little longer. I love the reconnection with nature I’ve been able to make and the attention to my health. Enjoying brisk morning walks, yoga barefoot on the beach, even at 4 degrees watching the sunrise. These simple but essential things managed to get swallowed up by life, but I’m grateful now for the space we’ve been given to course correct....everything in life contains a gift, even the most challenging SO... What has been your biggest blessing to come out if covid?

07.01.2022 Wow what a week!Not sure how many people are still out there at the fire fronts across this land. It’s great to see people doing fundraisers using their skills. I’m going to keep doing my bit...Yoga at cookies beach South Durras Saturday morning 9am for one hour- free classes but donations welcome to go to RFS. Bring a mat or towel....
