13.01.2022 Report from rob hardy of todays events . Sums up my day! Today I ran a 20ft shipping container from Truganina to a farm 30mins past Buchan to a farmer t...hat lost everything, from fences to his house all hes sheds and tools, his two caravans, hes toys, and machinery, some sheep and all hes cattle that he found dead in gully that he thought were giant rocks and unrecognisable when he checked out damage around hes farm. I have been asked alot recently why am I helping so much! My answer is simply to help people in need, and because I still have a roof over my head and unlike this farmer Dave whos camping out in hes neighbours shed who doesnt or any of hes belongings, nothing. Hes got some amazing people helping make new fences, donations of containers for shedding and storage and a portable make shift home, etc. For me all I did was offer to help a fella whos one of these amazing people also trying to make a difference by doing prob the easiest part transporting it. Robert Johnstone I have not been posting runs I have been doing personally other than sharing posts but this fella hit a sweet spot, telling me to come have beer with him. Seeing him run down but with a smile on hes face to have an hour of my time to have yarn and a laugh he mentioned was magnificent! This showed me that you dont need much to be happy! It also showed me how much someone can appreciate another ones time! Have a good Weekend guys!

But next weekend is no exception, Im planning a show of force to really kick off our efforts in sarsfield. If you ever said you wanted to help, now is your time. Winters only round the corner and a lot of these people dont even have homes let alone heating. ... Get on board, get your hands dirty and clean your soul. 07.01.2022 Update on where we are headed

07.01.2022 This is one of our heartwarming stories, this young girl was reunited with her horses today. After what I imagine would have felt like decades. The animals couldnt return due to burnt fencing. And it was affecting this lovely young family for the worse. When we learned of this the crew went into motion and within a full days period reinstalled the fencing. ... This young family was quoted 20k to repair the fencing , instead a small amount on materials and a saving of 18k through free donated labour of our crew. These are the stories that keep me coming back to do more. This photo fills my heart with not only love but pride for our team. This is our purpose ..... East Gippsland community support Tffac

07.01.2022 Thankyou to all of volunteers over the weeks. You guys and our supporters are what make the difference https://7news.com.au//young-girl-reunited-with-horse-after

06.01.2022 Im struggling to write this gang, my hands are shaking with rage . Our country is being torn from under our feet and the opportunistic hyenas that all themselv...es the banks are about to start the land grabs. People unite, its time . We allready have to help repair these peoples lives . Well now its the next level .

05.01.2022 Morning everyone, I have been very quiet of late trying to focus on home life during this period. I hope all you amazing people are well and getting through this difficult time best you can. I just wanted to take this moment to thank each and everyone of you guys who contributed to our campaign. wether it was financial or attending, you all made possible what otherwise wouldnt have succeeded. Im extremely proud of what we achieved together and of each of you. I personally ...had huge self growth during this time. We faced massive challenges and difficulties the we overcome together in no other way then to say the Aussie spirit. When this covid crisis ends we will endeavour to get going again but there will be a few changes. We are unsure as to what this will look like and how big they will be. But be assured East Gippsland Community Support is not finished. So for the time being relax at home for those who can, brain storm and develop new ideas to assist the campaign And recharge.

04.01.2022 Please disregard the false prophet to the right . But I personally met the Sikh crew whilst down on our fire campaign and they were amazing people .

04.01.2022 For those of you wondering when we will resume our work in Gippsland we are first and foremost limited by the current covid situation . But secondly we have been told our presence is not wanted back at the sarsfield hall. So to all those who still need help, I suggest you make the hall actually do what they are meant to do and represent the community for community interests. And thirdly myself ( robert) has had to take a backwards step for personal reasons. Until a nominated leader stands up to lead the charge our mission will be on hold

03.01.2022 Well as the long weekend draws to a close , another massive effort by the teams. Multiple properties Multiple people assisted Multiple friendships forged ... For those who were unable to attend this weekend but still wish too, we are planning another round this coming weekend in sarsfield. Get in touch and make it happen East Gippsland community support Tffac

02.01.2022 This sums up my year , Thankyou to all those involved. In a year of nightmares you were all super stars

01.01.2022 Now seeing this makes me mad for all those affected. Everyone who volunteered or followed our journey knows we worked on a very tight budget. Imagine what we could have accomplished had we had the financial backing like this. We already assisted so many where it mattered.
