21.01.2022 The effects of poor posture can be both visually and physically bad for you. When you slouch, your head pushes forward, shoulders round forward and neck shrugs. This not only looks terrible, it might lead to neck, jaw, shoulder and/or back pain and even headaches. Try to sit or stand tall: Pretend you have a string attached to the crown of your head pulling you up. Take your shoulders and roll them up back and down to feel your chest and heart area open up. Engage your core by drawing your lower belly in and up but not to the point where you are holding your breath. You will look and feel better and more powerful.

18.01.2022 Walking shouldn't be your only form of exercise, but it can be a great way to burn a few extra calories and keep moving. It's an easy form of exercise that can be done daily. In addition to being low-intensity and easy on the joints, walking boosts heart health, burns calories, improves cardiovascular conditioning, and strengthens your bones.

12.01.2022 How long should you hold a stretch? And how many times should you do each stretch? For optimal results, you should spend a total of 60 seconds on each stretching exercise. So, if you can hold a particular stretch for 15 seconds, repeating it three more times would be ideal. If you can hold the stretch for 20 seconds, two more repetitions would do the trick.

02.01.2022 Osteoporosis is a condition that makes bones more brittle and prone to fracture. Although osteoporosis can effect men and younger people, post-menopausal women are most at risk. One of the best ways to help maintain healthy bones is to exercise regularly which encourages the bones to absorb calcium and other mineral salts that keep bones strong.
