22.01.2022 We will not be operating today due to the wind. Apologies for any inconvenience.

19.01.2022 At this stage we will be back tomorrow, Friday 17/1

19.01.2022 Thankyou to Melbourne Camel Hire for their kind donation to Rowsley Fire Brigade. ( monetary donation not the camel.)

19.01.2022 Due to the weather, we will be having yet another day off on Wednesday 15/1. At least we will be well rested for when we do start back up.

18.01.2022 Update! Poo is gone, but we should have another load in a couple of weeks. Free camel poo! Did you know that camel poo is a great weed free fertiliser for plants, vegies and trees. If anyone is interested in some camel poo for their garden please get in touch. I have a full 6x4 trailer load available for pickup in Geelong or delivery if someone wants the lot. BYO bags or buckets. PM for more info.

17.01.2022 Due to the weather forecast, we will not be operating today. Apologies for any inconvenience.

17.01.2022 This has been our covid project. We are lending Dan a couple of camels for a great cause.

16.01.2022 Have you ever seen a camel in regional South Australia? It in the 80s, Warwick Hill moved from Western Australia to the APY Lands. He was adopted by Pitjantja...tjara and Yankunytjatjara elders, learnt to speak the language and developed a love and skill for mustering camels (not an easy task!) 30 years later he's still working with camels and returning to the community he's formed a close bond with.

15.01.2022 We arrived at the beach today and due to the very high winds have decided to call it a day. High winds can make it a little dangerous. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

15.01.2022 Unfortunately we will not be working today due to weather. On a positive note, we've had some much needed rain and the weather is looking good for the next few days

14.01.2022 Due to the miserable(but much needed) nature of the day, the camels will regrettably not be working today. As a result, our fundraiser will start tomorrow, 6/1, and run until Sunday 12/1. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

12.01.2022 With so much of our country on fire, and a deep feeling of helplessness I have decided to donate 10% of our profits for the next 7 days to the CFA. These volunteers sacrifice so much of their time and risk their lives keeping people safe. Hopefully our donations will in a small way assist in properly resourcing these brave selfless men and women, who give so much back to the community.

12.01.2022 10% of our profits this week will go to the CFA

11.01.2022 Due to the heavy smoke haze and the hot weather, we have decided it would be best to have a day off today. Sorry for the late notice and sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

10.01.2022 Due to the smoke haze our lead camel, Hergott, says we should have another day off, to minimise ours and the camels exposure. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Hopefully it clears soon so we can get back to doing what we love.

08.01.2022 Unfortunately we will not be operating today as its probably a little crowded to be walking the camels on the beach. Thank you to all for your support over the summer and Happy Australia Day to all. We'll be back tomorrow

People from North Africa and the Middle East have been drinking camel milk for more t...han 6000 years and now it is finding favour among health-conscious consumers in the West and also East Asia. 07.01.2022 Did you know that our amazing camels are also available for hire? We are available for school fetes, festivals, nativity scenes, parties, and promotions. If you have an event coming up and you're interested in making camels a part of it, get in touch and we'll see if we can make it happen.

06.01.2022 I'm very sad to see this, most of our camels were once part of the feral camel population in Australia. Thankfully they have been spared this fate, but unfortunately we can't save them all.

04.01.2022 Today we celebrate World Camel Day. We have so much to thank these amazing creatures for! We look forward to getting through Covid so we can get the camels out and about again and continue doing what we love.
