21.01.2022 Dom played for 35 years and has been coaching juniors for more than 9 years, holding a game training certificate with FV. A clear philosophy of listening and putting to practice what you learn, with a belief in training hard, playing hard and give one's best every time has paid heaps in his footballing life. Only one blemish on his otherwise sparkling CV - his goes for Liverpool (rather than Chelsea)

09.01.2022 Hailing from the UK, Paul was a semi-pro (what is that anyway?!) with Melton Town, and later Grantham. He was tutored by none other than Ex Irish keeping coach Seamus McDonagh, who inspired Paul to go on and attain his Level 1 keeping Licence. And knowing that goalies understand strikers better than anyone, Paul went on and got his C License, and further a Specialised Strikers coaching as well. Before The Den, Paul was spitting into his mits at Box Hill and Kingston City. His other interests include professional web design and Farmers Markets promotion. Yes, really!

08.01.2022 With the new Junior structure in place, Eastern Lions SC will be having an u13 pre-NPL squad for season 2021. The 2021 squad will consist of 2 teams, being managed and coached by two fully qualified C-Licenced coaches. The focus will be on training the whole squad together and developing the players to form the team for our u14 2022 NPL squad. Both qualified coaches will work extensively with the squad for season 2021 (u13) and progress with the squad for season 2022 (u1...4) Training night will be: Monday Nights: 6pm to 7pm Friday Nights: 6pm to 7pm Training for the u13 pre-NPL squad will commence on the week beginning Monday 9th November. 04.01.2022 Our big-smile maestro is back for another shot at the NPL U15s title. He'll have a few new faces to deploy, and given his extensive history, we think the U15s will be very competitive. Having plied his trade at centre half, then into the 6 ad ultimately 8 playmaker roles, Jean reached the pinnacle of NSW State 1. He then went onto concentrate on his coaching, and is alongside Seniors coach Costi Puscasu in attaining his B License. He likes the idea of keeping the game simple, but sees graft and a positive attitude as the must haves to success: talent alone won’t get you there. Whilst he’s been a Gooner (Arsenal) all his life, Chelsea is beginning to take his fancy.

03.01.2022 Possibly the most decorated coach on our roster, The Pele of the North was so dubbed back at Aberdeen because of his unique skill on the ball. George is one of only three Aberdeen players to have made their debut at 16, and came to play for South Melbourne Hellas in 1978 for a then record breaking fee 20,000 (AU$50,000, at just 21! He has his chiselled looks up on South Melbourne's Hall of Fame at Bob Jane Stadium, and played 104 games for the perennial powerhouse. After alm...ost 300 league appearances, George hung up the leathers and started coaching, having stints at Essendon Royals, Nortcote and latterly Dandy Thunder. We are glad to have his services at The Den and are expecting a stellar return from his extensive CV. George has recently taken up ballroom dancing, where he is known as The Scottish Wayne Sleep because of his unique foot skills. See more
