23.01.2022 ATTENTION: To all the parents with children starting Prep this year 2021, the Leader Newspaper has been confirmed for: Lilydale Lake tomorrow Friday the 22nd January at 10am... MEET AT The front of the Red BRICK TOILET BLOCKS near the main carpark. Please take kids to the toilet before the photo shoot. The photographer will decide where to take the picture once s/he meets us. All kids need to be in school uniforms. Please don't be late!!!! Where possible arrive 10 minutes early. We can't keep the photographer and journalist waiting. Look forward to seeing you all. Adults may or may not be in the photo so dress to impress!! This photo may make the Herald Sun Newpaper too!!! 20.01.2022 Today marks the commencement of Multiple Birth Awareness Week in Australia, a week where families celebrate and educate others on the joys and challenges of rai...sing twins, triplets and more. This year, our theme is share the journey. Our Chairperson, Ashlee Tenberge said "Many parents of multiples feel isolated and overwhelmed due to their unique situation. A strong sense of belonging is essential for good mental health and well-being." We know that those who actively share with their peers have reported a sense of belonging, making new friends and stronger social contact from playgroups. Every multiple birth family is different and unique and AMBA connects you all. We invite you all to share your journeys with us this week, to celebrate and educate the communities around us.

17.01.2022 Eastern Areas Multiple Birth Association (EAMBA) has their annual trivia night coming up. On the 10th of August. Its going to be a blast. Silent auction and lots of fun and exciting questions and games. Get your tickets now. EAMBA supports families with multiple births, twins triplets and more. We are a community that rages over 4 councils and provide support for families who are pregnant, have newborns, toddlers or school aged. Often a multiple births are delivered premat...urely from 24weeks gestation and can spend months in hospital with families traveling in and out to visit, cuddle and bond with their new babies. This trivia night is our fundraiser so we can provide support by cooking meals and we offer playgroups too. 13.01.2022 Today is International Volunteer Day, a special shout out to each and every AMBA Vic volunteer! A selfless act that can be underestimated, without volunteers AMBA would not be here to support multiple birth families. This years theme for International Volunteer Day is very appropriate for AMBA For an Inclusive Future. Coincidentally today AMBA is well represented at the National Agenda-Setting Workshop to achieve better health outcomes for multiple birth families.

02.01.2022 17 days to go!! Its time to book your tickets! This is our major fundraiser for the year. ... It supports families in 4 council areas with twins, triplets and more. Families with multiples often deal with high risk pregnancies that have a lot of complications. For example and we have see babies born as early as 24 weeks and those families have had to spend more than 100 days traveling in and out of hospitals while they wait for their babies to be well enough to come home. We help support these families with our breast pump and meals programs, education sessions, play groups and family events. So please book now! Great night promised.
