24.01.2022 Aphids have come early this year! Aphids are small bugs that suck on the sap from roses or any plant in general. Our garden experts at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park like to use Tempo spray or a brand favourite Yates (which can be purchased at Bunnings!). The spray is an insecticide that ensures roses are protected from Aphids. Our gardeners will spray every 3 to 4 weeks until Christmas as this will prevent any attacks on the new growth.

22.01.2022 ESMP welcomed a record community attendance for our enchanted Carols by Candlelight on Saturday 14 December. The event gave family and friends a unique opportunity to come together in the spirit of the season and enjoy an evening to remember amid the Parks beautiful expanses. Kids and guests of all ages sang along to all of the favourite Carols, led by the Christmas Crackers band. Santa joined the stage with his great dance moves, and to the absolute delight of all, we had a special performance by C5 Dance Studio. Visitors generously donated gold coins for candles and songbooks, which went towards much needed funding at the Newborn Care Centre at Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick, in memorial of Baby Lily Grace, the unknown baby discovered on Maroubra Beach in 2014.
