25.01.2022 Today Club De Petanque D'Adelaide hosted their Xmas Cup doubles competition. Perfect warm summer’s day 28 degrees, beautiful food put on .Prawn cocktails followed by ham,chicken,numerous salads. Then desserts pavlova cakes etc well done to the Adelaide members who did all the food prep Principal winners were JP and Louis defeating Nick and Dave Lefer. Consolante winners were Ray Drummond and Jon Jean-luc Gonnet. Convivial winners were Ali and Chris. Santa and his Elf visited to give the children presents.

23.01.2022 A successful day out at Chateau Dorrien in the Barossa for ESP members yesterday. Congratulations Maurice Belz & Alexi winners! Also Tory & Lionel and Naz Saunders & Ric medallists in the consolante and conviviale. Thanks to @Gawler Petanque Club for putting on a great day.

20.01.2022 Today Prospect Pétanque Club hosted the Sapl State doubles competition,30 teams participated . Winners of the Open doubles were Alexi Alexi & Maurice Belz(Esp) defeating David Lefer & Lionel Chazal (ESP).The Women’s doubles winners were Deb Rodda & Selina Dally (ESP) defeating Anna O'Connor & Tori Mcbride(Esp). Open Consolante winners were Glenis Head & Stan Wilson (Gawler PC)defeating Alain Rousse(APC)& Jean-Luc Gonnet(Novar Gardens). Women’s Consolante winners were Heike Whitehorn& Marilyn Trebilcock (Prospect Pc) defeated Annie Hambour & Rae Grierson ( Fab ). Thanks to The Prospect P C for a fabulous day and food

Consolante winners were Alaine & Linda. Convivial winners were Anna O'Connor & Tory Mcbride. As usual the food was fabulous thanks to all the helpers on the day

17.01.2022 State League competition today was hosted by Club De Petanque D'Adelaide. 30 triples teams participated, great day fine weather and fabulous atmosphere and food. Winners Arwed Turon, Alexi Alexi & Maurice Belz from ESP. Second Rada Pierre, Dominique Pierre & Alain Rouse from Adelaide. Third Ray Drummond, Tory McBride & Lionel Pujol from ESP. Petanque in South Australia is rocking it!

16.01.2022 Team ESP at the Australian National Petanque Championships today at Novar Gardens Pétanque Club. Triples round today with finals tomorrow morning before the doubles competition starts in the afternoon.

14.01.2022 Yesterday Club De Petanque D'Adelaide hosted the Sabilla Wines Cup.A great turn up of 31 doubles teams competed. The Principal was won by Arwed Turon & David Lefer, runners up Dave Ward & John Phillippe. Consolante winners Ray Drumond & Nathan James defeated Annie & Steve Hambour. Conviviale winners Dominique Pierre & Tony Cannazaro defeated Wayne Twigden & Shannon Gourlay. A great day fabulous food and weather plus we had a large group of novices playing with Adelaide members they seemed to enjoy the day.

10.01.2022 From midnight tonight SA shuts down for 6 days to stop the spread of COVID-19. The club is open tonight for petanque. The perfect socially distanced sport. Hopefully not too long before we are back on the piste. Stay safe everyone and the good news is now bottle shops are deemed an essential critical service.
