11.01.2022 A good news story for Good Friday with the 2020 RASF Ag Bags now SOLD OUT. Over 3000 bags, packed by wonderful volunteers, have been sold with every cent from the Ag Bag going towards the RASF Community Futures Grant program, to support rural communities. A huge thank you to Carmel Dyer, operator of the famous yellow and red Lemonade Stand at the Show, who purchased 1000 of these bags to donate to nursing home workers in the Sydney Metropolitan area. An annual tradition, the Show Radio will celebrate the importance of rural life and the essential role farmers and producers play and the heritage of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW leading into the bicentennial year. AFTRS Students will be live from 7am-6pm and will be interviewing rural artists and special guests. PLUS, live performances from amazing local musicians. The Showgirl Competition identifies young, female ambassadors who embody a strong passion for their regional communities and the agricultural show movement. The 2020 class of Showgirls is made up of women from across NSW, from a variety of industries, all with the common goal of improving life in rural communities.
