25.01.2022 Our work areas are looking great with new collaborative furniture and dividing pin up walls between classrooms. Kids are loving using the new digital technology resources too. Our refurbishment of classrooms has been a great success.

25.01.2022 Shaun Kay was back today working with our whole school on mindfulness. Today the kids learned about the importance of being present, listening and sharing. These are important attributes to have for a positive wellbeing. Congratulations also to Shaun Kay for his recent 7News Young Achievers Award.

The notification provided an update on new arrangements regarding parent/carers coming into the school for teacher meetings, drop off and pick up commencing from Monday, 8 June. 10.01.2022 What a fantastic book parade this morning. Big shout out to all students, staff and parents for supporting what is always a great day to celebrate book week. We were treated to some amazing characters. Congratulations to our winners, but a big well done everyone too!

10.01.2022 We are finding ways to do things a little differently at the moment. Tomorrow, we will conduct our first virtual assembly. Teachers will be gving out merit awards for some of our deserving super star kids, all online. We hope to provide a link to the virtual assembly for parents/carers of a student receiving an award, but this is a work in progress. We would like our kids to come dressed as a doctor, nurse, paramedic, emergency services worker, teacher, transport or delivery driver, farmer, supermarket worker or another essential services worker. We want to acknowledge and say thank you to all our essential community workers.

05.01.2022 Containers for Change at East Hamersley PS has started! We have been eagerly awaiting this scheme, with the support of the City of Stirling we are proud to add this WA Government initiative to our sustainability program. You can drop your eligible containers into our deposit bins on school site each day. We then get 10c for every container deposited by our community which comes straight back to the school. So tell you friends, store up your containers and deposit them daily at school just near administration. Thank you Mrs Wilson for your work to make this happen and thank you everyone for supporting our sustainability program.
