With no Football we haven't been able to bring in game day revenue, and with many of our Sponsors also doing it tough, this has left us in a challenging financial position. 17.01.2022 2021 LIST UPDATE With 2020 turning into an extended off-season, we’ve taken the opportunity to start finalising our list for Season 2021. We are excited to announce the re-signing of our Leadership Group, Nick Barry, Paul Fry, Lucas Hall, Mackenzie Bristow and Luke Poustie, along with Senior Coach Brent Chapman. Ruckman Chris Carey has also re-committed to East Malvern, whilst still pursuing VFL opportunities. The club is working through the remainder of our list via video ...chat over the coming weeks, and is confident in retaining the majority of our squad. We are also pumped to announce the first two new recruits for 2021: -Tom Preece, a classy midfielder, GV Interleague Representative and 2019 Best and Fairest Winner from Shepparton Swans. -Adrian Crawford, a skillful winger from Taylors Lakes and former Best & Fairest winner from South Bendigo/Shepparton Bears. 17.01.2022 We are beyond excited to announce the re-signing of midfielder Luke Duffy! Duff suffered a knee injury in R4 2019, and with 2020 not going ahead it will have been almost 2 years since he last pulled on the jumper. Duff’s resume includes 2 B&Fs at Drouin, a stint with Port Melbourne VFL, and strong performance in both the VIC Metro & SFNL Interleague rep sides in 2018. Welcome Back to the Zoo, Luke!

14.01.2022 East Malvern Football Netball Club has today advised the SNFL of our decision to withdraw all senior football and netballs teams for the 2020 season. After lengthy discussions with committee members, coaches and players, the difficult decision was made that EMFNC will not be participating in the upcoming season. The health, safety and wellbeing of players, volunteers, members and committee members are at the forefront for our decision. While we would love to be out there pla...ying, Covid-19 continues to create an ever changing environment for our community and one that is greater than football and netball when considering the importance of the health of our club members. We look forward to a big return in 2021.

10.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I advise the passing of Renai Ingersole. Renai is the wife of long-time committee member Andy Ingersole. Andy & Renai have been major sponsors through their businesses Swimwear Galore" & "CompNow and a major part of EMFNC for many years.
