20.01.2022 Favourite job of the day: trimming Mini's and Shetty's :) so adorable little creatures. As they are prone to laminitic episodes and long feet, it's even so important to keep their trimming regime in check.

18.01.2022 My off-sider Cleo decided that trimming horses' hooves can't be that hard and wanted to give it a go. So I gave her an apron and a rasp to try... I might have an apprentice soon

13.01.2022 The other week one of my clients asked me for alternative hoof protection for her horse. As Xara's hooves are wider than long we fitted her with Equine Fusion Jogging boots on the front which prooved to be the best solution for her. She tested the footing on the gravel road and happily walked and trotted in her new flash boots Happy horse happy client

08.01.2022 Mandy is a qualified Equine Podiotherapist providing professional hoof care and trimming services in the Snowy Mountains and the Southern Tablelands. Mandy also has regular clients in the Holbrook, Albury/Wodonga and Alpine Valleys regions. She has a passion for biomechanically correct trimming and experience in the treatment of pathologies such as seedy toe, thrush, laminitis and navicular syndrome. Mandy's clients include different kinds of equines e.g. trail and pleasure horses, pony club mounts, broodmares, foals and young horses, retirees, minis and donkeys. 01.01.2022 Just returned home from the Bowker Lectures 2018 in Hawkesbury. What an exciting and informative conference for hoof care professionals, bodyworkers, veterinarians, nutritionists and researchers alike. Great networking, new input, exchange of ideas, discussion of different aspects, and catching up with old and new friends. Thank you to the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy for organising such a great event.
