25.01.2022 As part of the Hospitality Certificate students are required to participate in various catering events where they can demonstrate their hospitality skills. On Monday, the Year 12 Hospitality class provided a morning tea and a three course lunch for the residents of Bethanie Fields. While it takes a lot of work to organise such an event, the students enjoyed the experience as much as the seniors did. We received a great round of applause, many 'thank yous' and were asked 'when will you be back with more delicious food and great service?'. Well done to all involved!

16.01.2022 EATON COMMUNITY COLLEGE - STUDENT COUNCIL STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS This year the Eaton Community College Student Council have prioritised leading student initiatives that support families within our local community who may be experiencing tough times. They have worked hard to strengthen partnerships with community groups in order to work collaboratively to achieve this goal. ... This term, our Student Council has partnered with the Rotary Club of Bunbury Leschenault to host the annual Give a Damn? Give a Can! food drive at our school. Pictured from the Rotary Club is Paco Tovar and Ian Pigott who collected the goods today to be delivered to our local In Town Lunch Centre, Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Society for distribution to needy families. Alina Gribble (pictured) and the wonderful crew at the Eaton Recreation Centre & 24hr Gym also jumped on board with our Student Council and reached out to their client base in order to support our food drive efforts, coordinating an additional collection point at the Rec Centre. You may remember that last term our Student Council also partnered with our local Bunbury Foodbank to raise $500.00 to support this vital food distribution service for families. We would like to sincerely thank our community partners for working with us on these student led initiatives and we look forward to strengthening these partnerships into the future.
