20.01.2022 School NON OPERATIONAL Wednesday 24/3/2021 Due to continuing flood waters and road/bridge closures, Ebenezer Public School will remain non operational tomorrow Wednesday 24/3/2021. Before and after school care will be also be closed during this time. An eNews email was sent regarding further details for online learning. This is in addition to the online resources available to all families via the link in our last post. ... We are aware that some families have been directly impacted by flooding and/or power outages. We understand that your priorities may be with other matters during this difficult time and do not expect school work to be completed unless it is a good use of time for your family. If you know of families who are unable to get these updates, please pass on information if you are able. I have come to know the Ebenezer community to be resilient, caring and supportive. This is another test of those traits and I sincerely hope you are all faring as well as possible and most importantly, that you and your family are safe. We encourage you to follow the directions from emergency services and to avoid driving or playing in flood waters. Please remember that safety for everyone is our priority. Andrea Dziubinski

Please remember that safety for everyone is our priority. Online Learning https://education.nsw.gov.au//learning-fr/learning-at-home This link will take you through to various learning packages and ideas for your children whilst at home. Today and tomorrow teachers are setting up Google Classrooms for each class this year - there will be additional links for Reading Eggs and other activities/programs. Please note that some staff are also in flood affected areas, so this may impact their ability to get to these tasks straight away.

10.01.2022 School is OPERATIONAL tomorrow, Thursday 25/3/21 There may be limited supervision and alternative learning routines due to some staff unable to travel to Ebenezer PS. If your child cannot attend school due to flood waters, please notify the school of this and continue with the online learning tasks if possible. Public transport is still affected by flood waters, meaning buses and ferries will mostly likey remain non operational for a few days.... Please take care when driving on the road, as many large potholes have emerged after the rain. OOSH may not be operational this week - please make alternative arrangements where possible or contact OOSH in the morning for confirmation. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support of the Ebenezer community during such a trying time. Thank you also to our teachers, who switched to online learning support straightaway this week. We look forward to getting back to some sense of usual routines soon.
