25.01.2022 So, if your centre closes down, you cant be charged fees?

25.01.2022 Breaking news! Anyone who still has a job will have their childcare paid by the government!!!!! "unlike the current system, the new package would not be means tested and would replace the current childcare funding platform for the duration of the coronavirus crisis"... https://www.theage.com.au//scott-morrison-announces-free-c

13.01.2022 Found on Facebook... useful tip! "There are three magic dots we hope all our members are aware of :). They allow you to control your own posts and what happens in them. They allow you to report others' posts and comments that break the rules. We prefer that you report things to the Admin team rather than FB, simply because we can deal with it based on our rules. Also, we might just mute or boot the person from the group. FB might go one step further and mute or boot the person from FB. If something is insanely horrific, we will (and have) report that member to FB directly. Please note, I was made aware this is harder on older mobile devices. However, I *think* holding on a post/comment on most smart phones will open the post, offering the same options (just tried it on mine)."

13.01.2022 This is terrible news, but inevitable in current times - the virus is out and we can only wait on vaccines and cures. My unofficial advice is: if you are able to be at home, bring your kids home. This will mean only essential service people (healthcare, cleaners, deliveries, supermarket staff) will need to use childcare and school, and the infection rate will be lower. These are bad times, people, and we have to take drastic steps to make sure as many of us as possible come out the other side... https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au//childcare-worker-tests-p

11.01.2022 Goodstart Early Learning has temporarily suspended its pick-up and drop-off service across the country after a toddler died on one of the company's minibuses in far north Queensland.
