10.01.2022 Today we had a spontaneous sharing of culture from our very own Yorta Yorta Warrior x After mention of a didgeridoo in a song, Cormac very proudly shared his knowledge of the Didgeridoo with his friends and then very bravely gave them a demonstration, playing along with the song. Cormac was very particular to pass on that in Yorta Yorta culture they only allow males to play, this is what his Dad had taught him, and his Dad had been taught by HIS Dad (Poppy) ..... So today we were privy to intergenerational cultural knowledge. What an honour x *his very proud parents gave us permission to share his photo and story.
