24.01.2022 As per government regulations, face coverings are now mandatory in all indoor spaces. Anyone over the age of 12 must wear a mask coming into the gym. Gymnast can take their masks off at the start of their class. Thank you for your cooperation!

21.01.2022 This is the time of year that we are usually putting the finishing touches on our display items ready for the big day. Unfortunately this year our display is not to be. The end of year display is the highlight of the year for many of our gymnasts (and coaches!) especially the higher level gymstar and ALP gymnasts. It’s so much more for these gymnasts than just doing their display item. The camaraderie, team spirit and role modelling they show on display day is inspiring. It’s... a time when they all get to hang out together and perform for a crowd who are there to enjoy the show, it’s a time when the younger gymnasts get to show off their skills to their families and watch the big girls perform, it’s a time when parents get to see what their budding gymnasts can aspire to. The display is pure fun for all involved. No one is being judged on their routines as they are when they compete, no one is being corrected by their coaches as they are when learning skills. The gymnasts are there to have a great time and be proud of themselves for putting in the time to learn their item and being confident enough to come along and perform for the crowd. We are very sad that we are not able to have our display this year but hope you will enjoy these videos of items from our 2019 display over the next few days. We will be back with a bigger and better display in 2021.

21.01.2022 Come and Try Kindergym! If you've been thinking about Kindergym for your little one in 2021, our Come and Try day is the perfect option. Come along to experience everything that is Kindergym at Eclipse; the staff, the class, the FUN! Are you already part of our Eclipse family? Why not bring a friend! Current members are welcome to come along when bringing a friend who is not currently a member at Eclipse.

18.01.2022 It is with heavy heart that we have to close our doors once again due to this most recent lockdown. I can’t tell you how sorry we are to have to do this and how much we will miss you all. For the last three weeks we had been gradually having our classes resume and it was just wonderful to see our Kindergym, Gymstar and Competitive gymnasts back in the gym having fun. This week was the first week back for our development gymnasts and we loved seeing them again for these last ...couple of days. We have had many phone calls and emails from parents letting us know how excited their children are to be coming back to gym and it really breaks my heart to have to close again. Hopefully if we all do the right thing, as a State, we can get on top of this virus and get back to some sort of normal again. Fees will be placed on hold and we will keep you updated as to when we are able to start up after the lockdown. I would like to thank you all for your kindness and support over these past few months. We have had many lovely emails and also some photos and videos sent through of some of the gymnastics the kids have been doing at home which we loved to see. This is a tough time for everyone having to go back into lockdown, so please take care of yourselves physically and mentally and reach out and speak to someone if you need help. Stay safe and well, and we look forward to seeing you again after this lockdown ends.

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Coach Tori and husband, Antonio, who welcomed little Adeline to the world on Sunday, August 2nd! Mum and Bub are doing well and can’t wait to meet everyone when we are back at the gym. We are sure Adeline will be cartwheeling around the place in no time!

12.01.2022 Just ONE MORE SLEEP!! We are so excited to be starting our Return to Gymnastics plan tomorrow by welcoming back our Kindergym, Competitive Gymstar and ALP gymnasts! As you will all be aware, we have had to make some changes around the gym for the safety of all gymnasts, staff and parents. These include:... - Any spectators will be required to register via an online form upon entering the venue. - Hand washing and sanitising on entry, exit, between circuits and some activities - Limited spectators in the spectator area - No use of foam pit until further notice We understand that these changes may be a little daunting or unsettling for some children so we have put together a short video of some of the things to expect when coming back to the gym. We suggest sharing this video with your gymnast to help make the transition back to gymnastics as easy as possible. We can’t wait to see our Kindergym and Competitive gymnasts tomorrow and look forward to welcoming back the rest of the gym over the next few weeks!

We will have a special prize pack for the winners in each of the following age groups:... - 4 year olds and under - 5-7 year olds - 8-12 year olds - 13-17 year olds - 18 year olds and over (for the grown ups!) 08.01.2022 Some new things to work on at home! This video is aimed a little more at our older General Gym and Development gymnasts but everyone is more than welcome to join in and have a go! In this video is a warm up (just like the big girls do!), some stretching to work on doing the splits and three little routines we've put together for you to learn! The routines have some basic skills in them so make sure you have plenty of space so that you don't crash into anything and ensure yo...u are working within your skill level. Once you've mastered the routines, see if you can find a song or some music to do them with and send us a video! We can't wait to see them and we miss you all

We have been trialing our Zoom classes in small numbers and are now happy to be able offer classes to all members in Kindergym, General Gym, Development, Gymstar and Tumbling programs. 01.01.2022 It's nearly time!!! Classes will be resuming on Monday, November 9th with a modified timetable, as the Government restrictions only allow for 20 participants at a time. All of the current kinderygm classes will start back as normal on Monday so there is no need to rebook just come along to your usual class.... For all other programs there is an interim timetable and BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL. Please don’t turn up for your class if you haven’t booked into our interim timetable as we are limited to 20 participants only. There are still a limited number of places available. Emails with booking links were sent out to current members on November 3rd. If you don’t have the links, please email us at [email protected] and we will send them to you. Reception staff are not yet back at work so email is the best way to contact us for the next few days. We are taking new bookings as well so we would love to hear from you. We are SO excited to seeing lots of our current members and new members next week!
