25.01.2022 We were out and about in Milton this morning at the beautiful Temple Thai Milton. The customer was having light issues in the dining and bar area due to this magnificent Ficus benjamina. Commonly know as a Weeping Fig. So I advised a crown lift of the low lateral crown extensions, and a light crown thin as well. ... Every branch had to be rigged of and lowered into two tiny drop points. The results to the tree were as stunning as the lunch they provided us with. A big thanks to Joel and his wonderful staff.

24.01.2022 Here is a technical and limited access removal my crew and I performed this week in Hawthorne. The Melaleuca bracteata (Golden Revolution) had been previously lopped badly and now had pockets of rot forming through the main stems. The tree was also situated between service wires and comms cables to both houses. With limited space we managed to dismantle and rig the tree safely out in smalls sections, and lower the pieces to the ground. ... The job was finished without damaging structures or even the plants. Brett, my brother, undertook the stump grinding as well to complement the final results. The customers can now replant through this area with a more suited ground cover. 18.01.2022 Here is a one of our large jobs from last week. A customer contacted us about a large failed Morton Bay Fig, (Ficus macrophylla). The tree had failed at the main stems and large lateral branch unions due to a from of Ganoderma fungus. Although no visible signs of brackets were present on the tree. ... Trees can fail from rot unexpectedly and suddenly without warning. It was a shame to see such a magnificent specimen dismantled, but the last failed sections only missed the clients house by meters. The tree took the crew and I nearly 11 hours to process, it produced 60 cubic metres of mulch and 3 loads of logs. 16.01.2022 Out with the 40 meter tower this week. We performed lateral weight reductions on crown exstension's over a neighbouring roof line. We also dead wooded the trees, inspected them for defects and had the chance to retain a native bee hive in the Corymbia maculata.

15.01.2022 Presenting one of the jobs the crew and I had the pleasure of working on recently. The customer wanted to remodel there back yard and replant it with grass. The crew and I undertook large palm and tree removals along the entire back yard boundry fence. ... We then followed through and stump ground all of the stumps. With the help of our Vermeer skid steer loader, we then shifted all of the garden debris plus the dirt, and leveled out the area. 08.01.2022 One of the smaller jobs the crew and I completed last week. Crown reductions, crown thinning and crown lifting to a variety of citrus trees. The trees had grown to high for the elderly customer to harvest the fruit. So we reduced the trees to correct collars and growth points, then performed pruning maintenance as well.... The end results were great and now the trees will be easier to manage.

06.01.2022 Undertaking pruning today for a customer in Calamvale. 20% removal of lateral canopy extensions, and weight reductions. These trees had VPO's (vegetation protection orders) and were registered with the council. Pruning these needs to have a cert 5 Arborist on site supervising, or completing the work. This ensures there is a sound understanding of AS 4373, the australian standards, pruning of amenity trees. If you are ever in doubt about your trees, then contact a qualified... arborist like myself or your local council. The large Corymbia maculata (Spotted Gum) only had 2 lateral branches removed which made up the 20%. Professional work by industry professionals is what we are about. 05.01.2022 Cleaning the imformus Cocos palms today around a pool area. Crown lifting fonds, removing seed bunches and torpedoes, then finish stripping the old husks off as well.

04.01.2022 Undertaking lower lateral crown reductions and pruning work to a beautiful Delonix regia (Poinciana). Then canopy lifting some Jacaranda mimosifolias with the crew along a footpath and road area. It was nice to see the customers getting on board with the correct pruning techniques and standards being performed on their trees.
