24.01.2022 Wonderful to find wildlife in the city. Great find of two Tawny Frogmouths roosting in a tree. They are a nocturnal bird that is often mistaken for an owl, but they aren't. They are related to the Nightjar family of birds. During the day they try to camouflage themselves by looking like part of the tree, while having their daytime sleep.

19.01.2022 This is a talk that will change how you look at a tree and especially how you look at a forest. If you're interested in learning more, I highly recommend you read The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben.

08.01.2022 "Let children touch nature, for that which is untouched is unloved." Emma Marris A TED talk that questions what we call nature.

03.01.2022 Enjoyed presenting a workshop on Lane Cove Bush Kids at today’s ECEEN (Early Childhood Environmental Education Network Conference. The rain stopped and we were able to get outside for some fun nature games and learning. We finished the workshop with a variety of craft ideas to do. A great group of delegates participated.
