Toxins can cause the death of cattle within a few minutes of drinking to prolonged wasting and eventual deaths over many weeks. It is important to have at least two water sources in every paddock. In the case of numerous stock losses call a vet to do an autopsy and relevant testing. Move stock immediately to a safe paddock with safe water. Safe drinking water quality was achieved and maintained ov...er the weekend with continued monitoring and testing. Test results were reviewed by relevant authorities and Queensland Health. Thank you to Dingo residents for your patience and cooperation. PREVIOUS: Saturday 18 January - the water treatment plant has been repaired and flushed and all appears to be working fine.
